Sadly you are NOT immune to the effects of the Ooze, but it does come with some handy super powers..

The alien substance that crashed in the city doesn't just mutate gang members and various other city dwellers. It has also given you super abilities! Each of the five playable characters has a different super power and a different dodge move.
The game gives you two unlocked characters and three locked ones.

It is hard for me to describe, but pretty fun and addictive game. There is definitely room for improvement, but is solid 8.5/10. It gets very tough at times, specially if you get caught by a security camera, which I like to do on purpose to keep killing enemies LOL. Finding all hidden items in each level can be a real challenge, which I think is good. I think making bullets limited was a good decision. It forces the player to aim and think very well before going all crazy shooting and wasting bullets. Good job!
Solid shooter with nice upgrade mechanics. Looking forward to trying split screen coop. Works well on steam deck other than some minor text overlay issues in the level description screens. Developer puts out fantastic commentary on game dev on his YouTube channel.
Really solid shooter, gun-play reminds me a lot of nuclear throne and everything feels really satisfying. I'm still pretty early into it but I can't wait to play more of it!
fun so far!
I just picked up Regulators on Steam and I'm absolutely loving it! From the moment I started playing, I was completely drawn in. Every mechanic feels thoughtfully designed, making for a smooth and intuitive experience. Whether it's the combat, exploration, or whatever other core gameplay loops are present, it all just works. But what truly stands out is the scenario. The story and world-building in Regulators are top-notch. It's clear a lot of care went into crafting a compelling narrative that kept me hooked from beginning to end. The characters are memorable, the plot is full of twists and turns, and the overall atmosphere is just fantastic. If you're looking for a game with solid gameplay and a captivating story, don't hesitate to dive in. You won't regret it!
Lots of fun! Great game mechanics and upgrades with certain humorous elements. Plays great on Steam Deck. Looking forward to future updates!!
It is a fun game. it's perfect for me that wants fast action when i have half an hour over to just relax. I also love the aesthetics of Pascals games. Thanks OrangePixel for your great games! 🥰
Totally enjoyed controlling the dog and barking at the guards! Then blasting in with guns or bats, depending on the mood. You can tell a lot of effort went into the level design with baddies dropping in behind you and the like making you needed to be on guard at all times. Has all sorts of little popup engagements throughout the levels such as to crack open safes, placing the bomb, smashing the push button to name a few. Looking forward to playing more of it.
