Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 23 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

One of the best racing games out there for me. You hit insanely high speeds while still keeping full control of your hovership. Learning to pilot it properly is incredibly satisfying. Very few games make you feel this level of control, and that control is essential when you’re flying at 2000 km/h+. The resource system is simple but really interesting. You’ve got your heat bar, hyperboost, and health. Regular boost is available anytime, hyperboost has a cooldown, and both fill the heat bar. Once you overheat, you can sacrifice health to keep boosting. This creates a very satisfying risk-reward loop. You can push your health to the absolute limit to stay boosted longer, knowing that any mistake can end you. The tracks are surprisingly varied even though they’re essentially corridors. They make the most of the design and end up being genuinely fun, with excellent atmosphere too. Sound design is top-notch. Both the hovership sounds and the dynamic track music are excellent, and the soundtrack itself is really good. There’s a ton of single-player content. You can easily sink 100+ hours into it and still not finish every challenge. It can get a bit grindy and repetitive, but I’m having a great time chasing every star in every challenge. Steam online feels pretty dead, but you can always jump into the Discord and find games there. The community is still active. The biggest issue for me right now is the lack of ghosts or leaderboard replays. That’s a major disincentive for grinding time trials, which is usually one of my favorite parts of any racing game. I’m really hoping they eventually update Redout 2 with this feature… or that a Redout 3 happens someday. It’s a very good game and I’m enjoying it a lot.

The world needs more anti gravity racing games and this one is alright at that. The bread and butter of this game is stacking speed boosts to achieve incredible speeds. While it's incredibly fun and rewarding to temporarily sacrifice 95% of your hitpoints to achieve supersonic speed, doing that constantly, hearing the beeping danger sound of your health being low and then hearing it regenerate warps the game too much for my taste. The most important thing of any racing game, that is how it feels to drive, this game does well: ships handle well and the game has great sense of speed. Now come the negatives: There isn't much meat to the game: there's only racing and lap time attacks. You repeat those over and over again in a singleplayer campaign where they drip feed you incremental upgrades to your ship(+5% speed, +10% steering etc), which is dull. The campaign is simply bloated. Track design is hit and miss. All of them look great and have impressive vistas. However there are many questionable turns and jumps. This is exacerbated by tracks being very long and every track having a reverse counterpart making memorizing them difficult and frustrating. There's a rewind feature which feels like a band aid for poor track design. With all that said, I still recommend this game at a discount. The sheer joy of driving in this game is amazing despite all the aforementioned issues.
i like the first game much more. this one is blured with strange color pallet, less sense of speed and physical movement
honors wipe out but also does not adapt to the nostalgia or modern gaming. its more like a souls like for racers. i find i cant just pick it up and play for fun whenever i want like i could wipeout.
Redout 1 is better in every way. Such a shame that they've butchered all the aspects that made the first great. The car controls bad, unlock system is bad, the vehicles feel way slower than in 1, silly cutscenes in a fzero like game SMH, tutorials... like 90% of us hasn't played the first game, and the graphics/art style look sloppy and nothing like the tone of the first game. My first impression is really poor of this game and I'll just replay 1 instead. Skip if you - like me - enjoyed the first game.
One of the better anti-grav racing games available on Steam. Featuring eye-popping visuals and unique tracks that take full advantage of the game's flight inspired control system.
Jumped into arcade mode to check out the tracks and different vehicles. These tracks are awful. Constant blind turns, too visually similar to previous tracks, and this whole jump/land aspect feels half-thought out. The music is constantly building up to something it never quite reaches, and it really threw me off during the races. Eh.. This just clearly isn't for me.
I finished Redout 2 on the Epic Games Store. Then I bought it again on Steam, on sale, with all the DLC. I'm back in it with only 6 hours, so that is why. This is a finished-game review. I never owned the DLC on Epic, and I wanted another run with the additional content. Most racing games are low on my list. When Need for Speed was the big racing game, I never enjoyed it much. Wipeout was different. It was fast, demanded precision and felt like something else entirely. Redout 2 is the first game since then to bring that feeling back for me. Redout 2 reminded me that racing games are not the problem. I just want the track upside down and the speedometer in four digits. The speed is only half of it. You can steer and move the ship sideways at the same time, letting you take turns far more aggressively. Airbrakes help you tighten or correct the line. Once airborne, you control the nose and angle of the ship so that you meet the next section properly. Boost gives you the pace to compete, but holding it for too long overheats and damages the ship. None of this is difficult to understand. Doing all of it cleanly while the game is moving this fast is the skill. That handling would mean nothing if the tracks were ♥♥♥♥. They are the reason it works. You race through deserts, cities, mines, volcanic areas, underwater sections, mountain ranges and tracks suspended in the sky. There are pyramids, loops, inverted sections, huge drops and jumps where you need to control the ship in the air before you can even think about the landing. The locations are not cosmetic changes. The layouts change how you have to race. Some demand accurate strafing through tight turns. Others force you to manage heat, boost and long sections of flight. The further you progress, the more the game expects you to combine everything it has taught you. At its best, you are steering, strafing, braking, boosting and lining up a landing in one continuous sequence. You stop thinking about the individual controls and just race. It feels ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ incredible. The campaign gives you a steady stream of new ships, performance upgrades, colours and cosmetic parts. Some ships are faster. Others move sideways better, feel more stable or take more punishment. Temperature and gravity can also change what works best on a track. There is enough depth to make your choices matter, but not so much menu ♥♥♥♥ that the racing becomes secondary. Upgrades are staggered well enough that I always felt as though I was working towards something new. The AI difficulty and the track difficulty are two separate things. You can adjust the opponents, but the layouts continue getting harder as the campaign progresses. On the higher AI settings, one bad collision can be enough to lose first place. Some of the later tracks are brutal, but repeating them rarely felt like a chore. I could normally see where I had made the mistake. I was not repeating a race because I hoped the game would be kinder next time. I was repeating it because I knew I could do it better. Losing usually made me want another race, not another game. Arcade mode lets you choose a ship and track and get straight into a race. The campaign is still the best way to experience it. It introduces the handling properly and takes you through the environments in an order that makes sense. There is no real story, and there does not need to be. Redout 2 is not trying to make you care about a driver. It makes you care about the next clean lap. The soundtrack is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ brilliant. I finished the game and immediately went to Spotify to save it as a playlist. That is how well the music fits the speed and environments. There are two areas where Redout 2 falls short of how good it could be. The art design is better than the actual image quality. The locations and tracks are imaginative, but the game can look softer than the designs deserve. A sharper image would make a big difference. I also still experience brief jitters when starting certain races or recovering from a crash. The recent update addressed a large number of bugs and quality-of-life issues, which is welcome, but the game can still need a moment to find itself. 34BigThings went on to develop Carmageddon: Rogue Shift. That patch makes it unfair to call Redout 2 abandoned. Good. I still want Redout 3. Redout 2 is too good to be where this series ends. It does not need to be rebuilt. Keep the handling, track design, progression and soundtrack. Make it sharper, make it smoother and give me more. Redout 2 brought back what I loved about Wipeout without feeling like a copy. It also gave me something most racing games do not: the need to master a track instead of simply finishing it. I finished it on Epic and bought it again on Steam. I do not have a stronger recommendation than that. Headphones on. Volume up. First-person camera. Enjoy.
VITESSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
