Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 23 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Do you miss WipeOut? I miss WipeOut. F-Zero was neat, but it just didn't have the unhinged track design and "crack your controller in half white knuckle" experience that WipeOut had. And then Sony decided to cram it up their tailpipe and shut down Studio Liverpool, who made probably the best entry of the series of all time. Y'know, because Sony can't help but dome themselves regularly while making doe-eyes at investors. Historically, anyway. This game, though? This has the soul of WipeOut: The screaming, unhinged, hold-the-gas-until-you-meet-god-or-a-trophy speed-freak core of what made that series so damn fun. They even brought a soundtrack that makes you desperately want to do semi-permanent damage to your throttle finger, just like it's spiritual forerunner. Gorgeous tracks and environments, at least while at speed, and some beautiful anti-gravity handling mechanics that feel less like drifting on ice, and more like flying a stunt plane with an unhealthy relationship with the ground. It's WILD. Yes, it's a 4 year old game, and the studio only recently got their game back from Saber (who, I'm surprised, didn't add an overpowered Russian vehicle somehow. Yes, I'm still salty about Snowrunner). No updates since 2024, and that's a damn shame, but it's hardly a problem! This game is the fix for all of you anti-grav racing junkies that grew up plastered to a CRT with a playstation controller in hand, or the N64 if you were nasty old-school. The only thing missing is weaponry, but it's not like you were gonna get a clean shot on anybody in this game without slamming into the wall at Mach Jesus. If you're on the fence, just go try it for a couple hours. It'll win you over.

Amazing, underrated racing game. Hands down my favorite out of my 40+ racing games on steam. This game has something special most racers don't. You know the anti-grav racing series 'Wipeout', how the other stick does that extra "air-brake"? So instead of just turning, you can REALLY turn when you want. You know how that adds a whole other layer to a racer? This is like that, but way better. The left stick steers like any normal racing game. The right stick though, it strafes left and right. So when you go into a corner, you have the option of strafing opposite the direction you're steering to slide the back out; then once you pass the apex of the turn you can just steer, or even strafe with the steer, and finish the curve. Long story short, instead of hard braking or fighting the corner, you can glide and flow through a corner in the most satisfying way.
If you have a high refresh rate (120+Hz) OLED monitor, this is the game to buy. Its a visual treat. Colors just pop on OLED like crazy. I wish this game also supported HDR, but even without it, its a great showpiece. Tracks look great and have lots of detail. Gameplay is great with awesome sense of speed and controls (gamepad is a must). This game runs on unreal engine which means it suffers from SEVERE stutters at the start of each race (stutters go away after 1 lap). Huge blemish on otherwise excellent presentation. If you like racing games, and you've got a great monitor, just buy this game. It also works on linux (been playing it on an nvidia GPU on CachyOS/Arch with 0 issues).
Do yourself a favor and get the first game instead. Redout 1 is a better game in every single aspect, it feels faster, the tracks are well thought out, and the music is night and day better. Redout 2 adds a lot of unnecessary and confusing complexity with the parts and campaign system, sometimes simplicity is better. Its really a shame as this really mirrors the other indie masterpiece Synthetik. The first game is head and shoulders better with a vision, the sequel ends up being nothing like the first and just no where near as good.
Coming from FzeroGX, with no other racer truly filling that void? " Redout 2 "definitely surprised me in all the good ways. Controls definitely require getting used to. But if give it a good shot, acclimate to it? this Game becomes addictive pretty fast. I highly recommend this game to those who want a Fast Racer that rewards mastering its depth like FzeroGX does. Redout 2 is a lot more intentional with its design philosophy in that it doesn't hide anything. Nearly everything you need to know about the mechanics & controls is open to learn deliberately so through its tutorial style trials. Where as FzeroGX ? feels more like you're reverse engineering the game, almost like you're discovering a entire game beneath its existing game (think Snaking and Momentum-Throttling etc). But like FzeroGX, as it is one of the games that Redout 2 pays homage to, it rewards you for mastering the controls and it is damn satisfying. Besides the customization of the machines, and it graphically looking pretty amazing... I am hooked.
born too late to understand wipeout, born too soon to race real AG vehicles, born just in time to play redout 2
UNSKIPPABLE CUTSCENES AND FORCED TUTORIALS IN PLENTY, where they litterally stop your vehicle to tell you how to "strife" I got no patience for bullcrap like that.
One of the best racing games out there for me. You hit insanely high speeds while still keeping full control of your hovership. Learning to pilot it properly is incredibly satisfying. Very few games make you feel this level of control, and that control is essential when you’re flying at 2000 km/h+. The resource system is simple but really interesting. You’ve got your heat bar, hyperboost, and health. Regular boost is available anytime, hyperboost has a cooldown, and both fill the heat bar. Once you overheat, you can sacrifice health to keep boosting. This creates a very satisfying risk-reward loop. You can push your health to the absolute limit to stay boosted longer, knowing that any mistake can end you. The tracks are surprisingly varied even though they’re essentially corridors. They make the most of the design and end up being genuinely fun, with excellent atmosphere too. Sound design is top-notch. Both the hovership sounds and the dynamic track music are excellent, and the soundtrack itself is really good. There’s a ton of single-player content. You can easily sink 100+ hours into it and still not finish every challenge. It can get a bit grindy and repetitive, but I’m having a great time chasing every star in every challenge. Steam online feels pretty dead, but you can always jump into the Discord and find games there. The community is still active. The biggest issue for me right now is the lack of ghosts or leaderboard replays. That’s a major disincentive for grinding time trials, which is usually one of my favorite parts of any racing game. I’m really hoping they eventually update Redout 2 with this feature… or that a Redout 3 happens someday. It’s a very good game and I’m enjoying it a lot.
Don't we all have some speed racing game in the past that we still talk about? A game which gave us 'feels' we cannot quite reproduce despite tech being so much better today? My path was Wipeout XL or Wipeout 2097 as it was known. And F-Zero GX on Gamecube. What was yours? These games are long gone and i cant get them so i have been searching ever since for something that would be like these games. Candidates have come and gone but for now at least the search is over. This game (after a brief but intense learning curve about stacking boosts) is just a-ok and does away with the itch when you just want to "go to plaid speed" and learn to do it cleanly too. One major thing to note: There are no weapons in this game so actual handling, speed and gorgeous (difficult sometimes) tracks is what the base of this game is made out of. Other good games exist with a more retro violent nature (BallisticNG) that are good indie counterparts to this title but it's clear what this one focuses on which is speed and heat management along with skillful piloting. And looking good too while doing it. If you are searching for games focusing on speed i consider this one a essential game in your library. If not, might as well pass as you either know you need something like this or it's just a waste of money. Based on what i read on the forums there are quite many who do buy mesmerized by the graphics and then end up with a game they don't quite need or want to learn. Make no mistake there are requirements here of you starting with the boost stacking. You wont get anywhere right from the trials if you don't learn that. Looking at gauges? Wrong move. listen to the audio cues when you boost the ship to the absolute maximum it's (self-repairing) hull can take. Do not despair. It seems impossible at first but there are no secret buttons you need to press. Read up what experienced players say and learn and you start crushing opposition big time.
