For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

PROS: – I would honestly recommend it to fans of FTL-style games who are looking for more depth in questing and narrative. – Also great if you don’t mind slow-paced roguelikes, hard to master and with a learning curve to fully understand all the mechanics. CONS: – You might not enjoy it as much if you’re looking for a simple plug-and-play experience.

Developed by Firemage Studios and published by Firemage Studios and Phoenix Game, Red Rogue Sea offers a refreshing interpretation of the pirate genre by combining roguelike progression, tactical strategy, and deck-building mechanics into a single adventure. Rather than relying on traditional naval combat or open-world exploration alone, the game focuses on thoughtful decision-making where every voyage becomes a test of leadership, resource management, and adaptability. Players assume the role of a pirate captain navigating a dangerous archipelago filled with rival factions, hidden treasures, unpredictable events, and difficult choices that shape the course of each expedition. The result is a game that values planning and calculated risks over simple action, giving every successful journey a satisfying sense of accomplishment. One of the game's greatest strengths is how naturally its different gameplay systems complement one another. Exploration is driven by procedurally generated maps, ensuring that every campaign presents fresh opportunities and new dangers. Islands offer more than simple rewards, often introducing narrative encounters that challenge players to balance immediate gains against long-term consequences. This structure keeps each run engaging because the outcomes rarely unfold the same way twice. Even familiar situations can develop differently depending on previous choices, encouraging experimentation and making repeated playthroughs feel worthwhile rather than repetitive. The roguelike design successfully turns failure into part of the learning process, motivating players to improve their strategies with every new attempt. Combat delivers another layer of depth through its tactical card-based system. Instead of relying solely on unit positioning or straightforward attacks, battles revolve around a customizable deck that represents the commands available to your crew. Building an effective deck requires careful consideration, as every card influences how efficiently your ship performs during encounters. Unlocking new abilities and upgrading existing ones allows players to develop specialized strategies that suit different playstyles, whether focusing on aggressive assaults, defensive tactics, or flexible combinations that can respond to changing situations. Resource management remains equally important throughout every battle, ensuring that victories come from intelligent planning rather than overpowering enemies through brute force alone. Outside of combat, Red Rogue Sea offers meaningful progression that rewards long-term commitment. Unlockable captains, ships, and factions introduce fresh gameplay possibilities with each completed expedition, while permanent progression provides an incentive to continue playing even after unsuccessful runs. Every vessel offers distinct advantages and encourages players to rethink their overall approach, adding considerable replay value. The overarching objective of confronting the powerful Admiral White ties these individual adventures together, creating a satisfying sense of direction without sacrificing the freedom that makes roguelike games enjoyable. Combined with numerous random events and branching encounters, the game consistently delivers reasons to embark on another voyage. Visually, the game embraces colorful pixel art that captures the charm of classic pirate adventures while maintaining its own distinctive identity. Ships, coastal settlements, and characters are presented with an appealing level of detail that brings the world to life despite the retro-inspired presentation. The atmosphere is further enhanced by a setting populated with treasure hunters, merchants, pirates, and mysterious inhabitants whose stories add personality to the world beyond its strategic systems. While the game includes mature themes such as fantasy violence, blood, alcohol consumption, gambling, and smoking, these elements are portrayed in a stylized manner that fits the overall artistic direction rather than relying on graphic realism. The game's complexity may present a challenge for newcomers unfamiliar with tactical roguelikes or deck-building mechanics. Success depends on understanding several interconnected systems, and early failures are almost inevitable while learning how exploration, combat, crew management, and resource allocation interact. Players seeking immediate action or simple arcade-style pirate gameplay may find the slower, more deliberate pace less accessible. However, those who enjoy mastering layered mechanics and gradually refining their strategies will likely appreciate the depth the game offers, as each new expedition provides opportunities to discover better combinations and more effective approaches. Red Rogue Sea succeeds by delivering an engaging blend of tactical combat, procedural exploration, and rewarding progression wrapped in an entertaining pirate setting. Its interconnected systems create a satisfying gameplay loop where every decision matters, whether managing your crew, customizing your deck, or choosing which risks are worth taking during a voyage. The strong replay value, meaningful strategic choices, and charming presentation make it a compelling experience for fans of roguelikes and turn-based strategy games alike. Although its learning curve may discourage some players initially, those willing to invest the time will find a rich and rewarding adventure that stands out within its genre. Rating: 6/10

我还要接着骂,任何地点只要有皇家军队巡逻就彻底失去意义了,皇家军队不会走,这个地点不论你反复来几次也不会触发任何特殊事件;手里船员满员就无法接受奖励船员,也没有任何补偿;跳帮流的致命缺陷在于如果对方沉船,则我方在对方船上的所有船员受一点永久伤害,就这一点让跳帮流永远比不上炮战流,难道我还要让跳帮的船员全部用鱼叉炮撤回来?;战斗结束后这帮傻逼船员不会自动回到我设置的预定位置,而是留在上一场战斗的最后位置,你要玩跳帮的话就看着开战后自己的船员全部在船底大眼瞪小眼吧;

“FTL” meets pirates with tactical deckbuilding. Hard to put down once the mechanics click. The ship and crew management feels really well designed, and every run feels different. On top of that, the pixel art and pirate atmosphere have a ton of charm. Highly recommended if you enjoy strategic roguelikes.

I really enjoy strategy games and pirate vibes and this game is honestly way more fun than it looks at first. The pixel-art style is super cool and this sound track is cool as well. The gameplay loop gets really addictive really fast, you’re always upgrading your ship, finding better loot,...telling yourself “okay, just one more run” for the fifth time in a row.
