Reviews
As has already been pointed out, this game is clearly inspired by Forward: Escape but adds enough new twists and interesting unlockables that it's become its own thing.
Mega wie die Demo nur besser :D Für 2 Euro einfach unschlagbar 10/10
Sencillito pero se deja jugar , podría meterle más modificadores pero por el precio que tiene muy disfrutable!
It's a cool game, you can really get hooked!! Respect to the author.
This was directly inspired by Forward Escape the Fold, but tbh I think I like this more. It's faster paced and has more intense feedback. Overall though, it's way better than any $2 game has any right to be. I've played so many significantly more expensive games recently that are boring, full of flaws, poorly designed and paced, or lacking polish but this game hooked me immediately and is very polished (even has controller support). It's an easy to learn and addicting loop with a surprising amount of detail for the presentation (the music also goes hard). You're constantly making choices based on chance and strategy. Though the game doesn't always tell you everything. One thing I had to figure out myself was the mana/skill system; it's not a magic meter it's more of an ability point. Every character has skills they can use by clicking it on the associated icon on the right side of you that uses mana. I did a lot of runs without this until I figured that out and it made things easier. Also the game doesn't save your runs in the middle so if you exit it exits the run. Not a big deal as this is more small bite sized play sessions than big expansive ones. Highly recommend!
I Managed To 100% All Achivements In Under 4 Hours, Simple But Kinda Addicting NGL
Game is immensely frustrating. The game hinges around stat checking the enemies basically, so there's very little incentive to fight trash mobs (because they only drop gold) and instead you want to path into as many artifacts, chests, and mana along the way. Most trash mobs as well will just L + Ratio you like three seconds into your run, especially if you're unlucky. And this brings me to my biggest pain point besides the lack of overall depth of the game. THE MISS CHANCE?? Why, in a game about beating your enemies over the head with bigger numbers, do you have a chance to miss an attack and blow your entire run?? It's insane how many 1 minute runs you will have because you miss on an enemy or the boss, even if you should kill them in a swing or two. I did eventually manage to clear a run, but the game asks for a Dead Cells esque playstyle where you interface with enemies as little as possible(because they will just kill you) while you pick up upgrades to stay healthy enough to kill the boss. Not my cup of tea. Besides the tuning/balance patch the game needs, I would like to be able to speed up/click through the post-round screen, given how fast runs can be in this game I would prefer to start again ASAP rather than sitting through a minute of progress bars ticking up.
Wow, what an incredible game! The gameplay is super engaging. I couldn't put it down. Highly recommended!"
molto carino
