As the commander of an immensely powerful star destroyer, you’ll battle pirates, explore anomalies, befriend aliens, scavenge battle wreckage, mine asteroids, and discover artifacts. Choose your path as a roguish do-gooder, crafty space-trader or power-hungry privateer – or maybe a little of each! Buy larger and more powerful craft with your hard-earned credits, and outfit them with a variety of wicked weapons and defenses. Set in a galaxy of fantastic sights, and secrets to be found, Rebel Galaxy is above all a space epic of adventure, exploration, and combat.

Gran juego, pochoclero. La historia, meh, pero entretiene. DX9, el 11 crashea aveces. Mejor tenerlo aca que en Epic, aca guarda en la nube pero en Epic no.
Para mí es un juego muy frustrante. Voy tranquilamente en un viaje a un destino, de repente combate aleatorio, mi nave es destruida en 5 segundos. Juegos así no me gustan nada. Y eso que acabo de empezar el juego...

A true gameplay gem. Keep in mind there are some bugs, but it's still really fun.
Hidden Gem
Overall its a good game. You basically have to do quests (escort, destroy, collect, defend etc.) in a flat universe where you control your spaceship like an actual ship that shoots broadsides and has turrets. It took me some time to get used to it but then it clicked and I had a lot of fun. However overtime I grew frustrated with the scaling of difficulty in the game. You grind for your ship upgrades just for them to be meaningless since the game adjusted to you being stronger. If in sale and you like some fast paced action with a nice soundtrack its good.
Feels like a good base. If it had the map size & story depth of Endless Sky or Escape velocity it would be amazing. Combat is fun. Missions are a bit repetative, but not too much of a grind to get upgrades. It's worth playing, but could have been so much more.
Awesome game - re-playability of this game is crazy - an open galaxy with fun quest lines, you can take the main story quest at your own pace, or sometimes I get caught up just doing side quests and beefing up my ship; be it for fighting, hauling, or both, with a wide variety of mods and weapons for the ship. I kind of like grinding to upgrade before I really do story, very casual play at my own pace. Definitely recommend!!!
it's a little shallow, but the core concept is quite solid and fun. shame the studio went under, because they had chops. hopefully another studio revisits this concept.
Short but enjoyable, Shame the Dev left the industry as there is the bones of a very good game here.
