Railroad X

Unless you have a German dictionary of railroad jargon, this game will be very difficult to play. Everything from camera modes to train types is in German, as are most of the scenario controls.

Ungeeignet für Einsteiger im Gleisbau oder für Spieler die einen einfachen bedienerfreundlichen Streckeneditor erwarten. Wer träumt nicht davon seine Eisenbahn Kindheit neu zu beleben mit einer eigenen Welt mit selbst verlegten Strecken, Bahnhöfen & Co. Ich habe mir dieses Spiel primär dafür gekauft. Leider musste ich feststellen das dies nicht gerade die Stärken von Railroad X sind. Pro: + verhältnismäßig gute Grafik + originalgetreue Sounds + einfache und gute Lok Steuerung + einfaches an und abkoppeln + automatische Weichenstellung bei Anfahrt + große Lok und Anhänger Auswahl (Passagierwagen, etc) + große Objektvielfalt wie Bahnhöfe und Sendemasten etc Contra: - umständliches Menü - sehr schwieriger Editor / Streckenbau (nicht einsteigerfreundlich) - besonders umständlich sind weichen - kein automatisches zusammenfügen von Bahnsteigen - kein oder schlechtes automatisches zusammenfügen von schienen (oft schief oder leicht versetzt was das befahren/nutzen unmöglich macht.) - Zug Teleportiert sich an weichen teilweise, weiterfahrt unmöglich - Menü Sounds ständig zu laut bei neustart. Dieses Spiel würde stark von einem Update für die Editor Benutzerfreundlichkeit profitieren. MFG Goasler

All i can say is goodluck. This is in no way shape or form a Game of which you can PLAY. This is a job. This is a Tool . This is a Showcase. But a Game this is not. Do not buy this if what you are looking for is a train game. This Tool has nothing to do with gaming .

The game is fantastic to play but as from day one when i play the game there went eleven files missing which had to be reaquired every time after i played the game for more or less half an hour which is very frustrating. I experience a major problem. I have done everything in my power to try and find a solution for the problem but all in vain. Some trains stop running, some signals don't operate, some switch points don't switch. I tried to find out where the problem is but all answer that i get is that happens in many games, which is no answer for me. I have done the usual like exclude the game from virus scanning etc, etc.The people who sell these games make a lot of money and no one actually complain about the poor service. I don't even get any feedback for my problem from the Steam community. (Am i the only one having this problem?) Is there anybody out there that can help us to resolve this problem because i am starting to have my doubts about buying games from steam. I experience the same problem with EEP 12 the more upgraded version of Railroad X. I would say a no to buy the game.

UPDATE I complained to Amazon (where I bought this title) and Amazon refunded my money. See the discussion linked below for details. ------------------------------------- For now, my review has to be negative because the game crashes upon startup. The same problem is happening to several people. I paid for a complete game not a beta or early-access title and I have received no value for my money. Very good model railway building simulation. Quite tricky at first as it's very comprehensive, but once you get to grips with it you can create anything. Very good English tutorials on YouTube by Ruud Boer. Also a lot by McIwer in German (you don't need to understand the language particularly as you can pick up most of what he is doing just by watching).

I've purchased this back in December 2014 and it has NOT worked since day 1. The developer keeps promising and fix but has not delivered. Don't spend you money on this fraud.

Railroad X like its predecessors is a brilliant extensive model railway simulator. A bit time consuming to create a good furnished route, but well worth the effort. Don't be put off by the somewhat crude models as in game they appear somewhat better. The level of control of all the vehicles is very good and it's easy to set up multiple trains and road vehicles. For example you can have many trains on the same track controlled as in real life by block signals. You can set some trains to stop at stations while others pass through without stopping. Not much that you cannot do as regards automating a full and complex layout. Now for the downside. The EEP shop..... Items purchased are linked to your registration number. I so far have not been able to get one for the Steam version. This does not stop the shop selling you items if you have a previous registration as I do for EEP 7. I now have a number of purchases that I can't use in Railroad X and no one replies to my e-mails. I used to be able to purchase for EEP 7 but now I find even those purchases cannot be used with EEP 7 even though they were bought through my EEP 7 registered account. The EEP crew have now sorted out my registration to Railroad X.

이 게임은 TS2015 게임과 비교하면 다른 점이 있는데.. 게임에 기본적으로 설치된 철도노선이 별로 없다.. 나머지는 본인이 직접 노선을 제작해야 한다. 그것이 본인이 평가한 감점요인이다. 그 점이 게임 유저에게는 불친절하다는 것이다. 게다가 메뉴얼이 영어라서 언어장벽 때문에 아직 철도노선 만들기를 시도조차 못했다. 어느 정도 영어가 능통한 사람라고 느낄때, 본인이 철도메니아라고 생각한다면 게임구매를 시도하기 바란다. 그리고 메뉴얼을 읽어보면서 철도노선을 제작하야 한다. 유튜브 같은 곳의 동영상을 참조하면 철도노선을 만드는 방법이 자세히 나와 있다. 그외 노선 제작시에 기차 이외의 차량이나 사람들을 본인이 어느정도 원하는 방향으로 움직일수 있다는 점은 좋았다. 주변 풍경도 아기자기하고 보기 좋았다. 추가로 상점 페이지 이외의 열차나 철도노선을 구매하려면 이 게임을 만든 회사의 웹사이트를 방문하여 별도 구매할 수는 있다. 게임 제작사가 해외판매를 생각한다면 다국어를 확장 했으면 한다. 특히 한국어로 번역되어 출시된다면 환영이다.
