Raiders of the North Sea

5/10 - This is the digital version of the board game and that is noticeable. Alone against the AI, it is too simple and repetitive. What's more, you can be very unlucky with the cards you pick at the beginning and then have almost no chance of winning. Not recommended for me as a single player. But certainly worth playing with a few friends.

3.7/10 slow and bland one person can camp a building stopping you from hiring crew the entire game....wtf they won cause i could not do anything all game...cool

К тому же наглядно отсортированы по темам (очень помогли во время первой партии) - Очаровательные челленджи и метапрогрессия :3 [/td] [td] - Нет истории ходов и журнала событий. - Во время выбора награды за рейд нельзя прокрутить камеру, чтобы посмотреть, какие рабочие доступны в родной деревне. - Откат хода работает только в очень редких случаях, а в большинстве своём откатывать ходы никак не получится, хотя причины на то никакой нет. Понятное дело, что нельзя откатывать ходы, где тебе раскрываются рандомно вытянутые из колоды карты, но почему нельзя откатить простого рабочего, отправленного добывать условное серебро - это банальная недоработка. - Нельзя отследить, сколько подношений ты сделал (а это очень важно в случае с некоторыми героями, которые награждают тебя в зависимости от количества подношений). - Руку карт и уже набранную дружину вполне можно было бы уместить на одном экране. Вынуждать переключаться между этими вкладками - какая-то совсем уж лишняя фишка со стороны авторов. - Выбор разрешения и оконного режима воспроизведения доступен только в главном меню (когда я полез настраивать разрешение на паузе прямо во время партии - аж опешил. Слава богу Одину догадался потом проверить ещё и через главное меню). [/td] [/tr] [/table]

We need the expansions please

I think this game is great. It's fun, original and really well presented. I love the way you only have one worker at a time but the different workers have different abilities and you share the worker pool with your opponents. Gives you lots to think about. And the different skills of villagers/raiders gives the game a lot of variation and makes each game different. Would love to see some expansions added,

A big problem with the game is that it will disconnect every player mid-way through. If you're playing a live game -> you can't rejoin and it's lost. If you're playing casual, we managed to rejoin after 5-10 minutes, maybe because servers go down often or something. The UI is horrible, built for a mobile game from 2015, you need to click 3 times to see basic info, or hover over cards to see what they do, and some stuff like how many offering tokens you currently have isn't visible at all. There is also no volume slider for music or sounds. Instead, you have to open the volume mixer and adjust there. With a little bit of effort this could be a good experience, with a bit more great, but the game is obviously abandoned so that isn't happening.

Love this game. It takes a couple of rounds to get into it. Wish they had all the expansions on Steam as well.

Discovered this game as part of the Humble Bundle board games bundle. You command a viking tribe and have to build up your raiding party by amassing silver and provisions. By raiding settlements, you can bring in gold, iron and livestock. The different warriors all have their own special abilities (not all related to combat). There is a 10 mission campaign, which gradually introduces the different characters and rules. You can then play against the AI, or friends online or pass and play. You can build up your ranking by completing other tasks during a game (some of these are also the achievements). It's great fun to learn and work out your favourite characters and combinations.

Great port of a great board game. This is a perfect intro to modern board games because it features key mechanics like worker placement and still has combat.

This is an awesome game... no doubts. Only played it single player though. A bit hard to beat it on hardest level, Ragnarok, not too hard to beat it on normal... But where is the multiplayer community.? Seems like a gem of a game, imagening the board game must have been a great hit. And seems well done... (board games are of course limited by eventually figuring out the tacticts). Now I just need online competitors...Which is lacking as it seems it hasnt caught on too much. Still as a single player puzzle game I had 5 nice hours.Up to you to figure out if the price is worth it... But starting to like this company... Did they also make Dune? Another awesome game which actually has a huge multiplayer community...
