Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 1 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Right, so back in 2016 when this came out as an actual physical thing you could touch with your hands - remember those? - I was absolutely mad for Mystic Vale. Proper obsessed. Now, several years later, I've found it on Steam, and I'm delighted to report it's still brilliant. Mystic Vale is a deck-building game, except, and here's the clever bit, you don't actually build a deck. Stay with me. Instead of hoarding cards like a dragon with commitment issues, you upgrade the ones you've already got by slapping see-through improvements on them. It's called "card crafting," which sounds like something your nan does on a rainy Tuesday, but it's genuinely innovative. You're essentially Pimp My Ride-ing your cards, yeah? Xzibit would be proud. The Gameplay? Here's where it gets interesting. Every card in your starting deck has these "blight" symbols on them, which are basically little warnings that say "draw too many of us and your turn's ruined, mate." So every turn you're playing this game of chicken with yourself - do I draw another card and risk it all, or do I play it safe like a coward? It's push your luck mechanic and it's brilliant. It's like that feeling when you're waiting for toast to pop and you're not sure if it's going to be perfect or on fire. You spend mana - magic points, keep up - to buy advancements that permanently stick onto your cards. So that rubbish starting card gradually becomes less rubbish. You're building synergies, creating combos, basically becoming a tactical genius or at least feeling like one, which is almost as good. They've thrown in expansions like Vale of Magic, Vale of the Wild, and Mana Storm, which is great because the base game, while solid, would get a bit samey otherwise. These expansions chuck in new mechanics and cards, keeping things fresh without making you feel like you need a degree to understand what's happening. It's that sweet spot of "oh, that's new and interesting" without "oh god, I need to read a manual." Once you've played it enough, you start seeing the optimal strategies, and suddenly you're doing the same thing every game. The AI's decent - it'll give you a game - but it's not going to replace actual human opponents who can properly wind you up with their annoying perfect plays. Mystic Vale is one of those rare digital adaptations that actually works. Nomad Games have done a proper job here - it's faithful to the physical version but takes advantage of all the digital conveniences like not having to manually shuffle transparent cards, which I imagine would be an absolute nightmare in real life. If you like strategic card games and you're bored of the same old deck-building formula, this is worth your time. Like finding an old favorite game on Steam and realizing it still absolutely slaps. Just don't expect it to change your life or anything. It's a card game, not therapy.

very calm card game with some interesting mechanics, few UI flaws and a loveless tutorial. I would buy it again, but only in sale. you don't need to be afraid of the game being too complicated. It's easier than it looks.
Mystic Vale, developed and published by Nomad Games, is a thoughtfully crafted digital adaptation of the innovative card game originally designed by John D. Clair and published by Alderac Entertainment Group. At its heart, Mystic Vale introduces a unique spin on the deck-building genre through a mechanic known as “card crafting,” where instead of adding new cards to your deck, you upgrade existing ones by layering transparent advancements. This mechanic, faithfully translated to digital format, offers a refreshing strategic challenge while maintaining a smooth and intuitive interface that supports both single-player and multiplayer gameplay. The premise of the game is rooted in a magical, nature-themed setting where players take on the role of druidic clans attempting to cleanse a cursed valley and restore its natural beauty. This theme is well-supported by the game’s visual presentation, with richly illustrated card art, ambient sound design, and clean animations that enhance the atmosphere without overwhelming the core mechanics. The lush visuals and immersive sound effects help maintain a relaxing yet competitive tone throughout gameplay, and each advancement you apply to your cards feels visually and functionally satisfying. The interface is clean and responsive, making it easy to track your deck’s development and manage your resources. The gameplay loop revolves around balancing risk and reward. At the start of each match, all players have an identical set of basic cards, many of which contain "blight" symbols that can cause a turn to be forfeited if you draw too many at once. This push-your-luck mechanic adds a layer of tension to each turn, forcing players to consider whether to draw more cards and risk spoiling their turn, or play it safe and make fewer moves. As the game progresses, players spend mana to purchase advancements, which are placed directly onto the cards in their deck, effectively customizing and evolving them with each turn. This crafting element provides long-term strategic depth, as players can pursue specific synergies and build toward powerful combinations that maximize their scoring potential. Mystic Vale includes several expansion packs, such as Vale of Magic, Vale of the Wild, and Mana Storm, which introduce new advancements, vale cards, and mechanics that significantly increase variety and replayability. These expansions layer new tactical possibilities onto the core gameplay without disrupting its elegant structure. Each one introduces novel strategies and subtle rules that veteran players will appreciate, while still being accessible enough for newer players to pick up with a bit of guidance. The game’s AI opponents offer different difficulty levels in solo mode, and the online multiplayer functionality allows for smooth matchmaking, whether with friends or random players. Despite its many strengths, Mystic Vale does have limitations, especially in terms of long-term engagement. While the card crafting system is undoubtedly innovative, some players may find that optimal strategies emerge over time, leading to repetitive play patterns across multiple sessions. The game leans heavily on the strength of its core mechanic, and although expansions help diversify gameplay, the overall loop can become predictable once you've experienced most of the card combinations. Additionally, while the AI offers a decent challenge, it may not consistently simulate the nuanced tactics of a skilled human opponent, particularly for experienced players looking for deeper competition. Another consideration is that Mystic Vale doesn’t offer a strong narrative component or campaign structure. It is firmly a systems-driven game, focusing on mechanics over story. While the thematic elements and art direction are cohesive and attractive, they serve more as a backdrop than a driving force. Players looking for a rich, evolving narrative or a branching single-player campaign may find the experience somewhat static. However, for those who value strategic planning, efficient engine-building, and a unique approach to deck construction, the game delivers a satisfying and replayable experience. In its current form, Mystic Vale stands as a shining example of how a well-designed physical card game can be successfully adapted into the digital space. It remains faithful to its source material while offering the conveniences and enhancements of modern digital play. Whether you're a fan of board games looking for a solo experience or a competitive player seeking a strategic card game with a twist, Mystic Vale offers a compelling package. With beautiful visuals, clever mechanics, and a refreshing take on deck-building, it earns its place as one of the more original and engaging digital card games available on Steam. Rating: 8/10
I'll admit, I'm biased; I loved this game since the first time I playtested it, before it was originally published in card form. I loved it when it hit store shelves, I continued to love it as a free fan-made computerized version on yucata.de, and I love this version too, with its fancy animated graphics and lovely chillax music/sfx. It's hands down one of my favorite tabletop games ever, and this version does it excellent justice (in all respects other than lacking the ability to undo a decision to NOT push; obviously the decision TO push can't be undone, but its opposite could be without harm, that's the only real problem I have with this program). I haven't played much against the enemy AI, I don't know if it's as ruthless on high difficulties as it should be, I'm certainly no expert at the game and I like to have a fair chance at winning, so I'll typically keep it around Medium difficulty. I also have yet to try online multiplayer, so I can't speak to whether that's any good. But as a relaxing single-player experience with beautiful art, I have absolutely no complaints, and would have happily paid more than I did.
I haven't played the physical version of this boardgame but now I am considering buying it - MV is a surprisingly good, pleasing, and fit-for-all game with ecological theme. Awesome art and presentation, well fitting music. I bought the smartphone app too
I love this game in person, it translated into the virtual space excellently. Love playing it solo or with friends. My partner had never played it in real life but he picked it up really easily with the tutorials
There's like a bajillion cards here. Bajillion isn't a word? Surely that is incorrect.
