It's WWII. You're a general sitting in a tent. All you have is a map, and a radio. Can you win the battle? Radio General is a unique strategy game where you interact with your units over the radio using speech recognition. Test your mettle and relive famous battles as a WWII general.

I couldn't pass the tutorial! I was doing exactly what it asked me to do but nothing happened.
I like the concept of this game, where the player primarily sees no obstacles to movement and receives information only via radio from their squads, which also requires observers. The vibe of a modern-day command post without satellite reconnaissance, internet, drones, etc. is beautifully captured. This game is especially well-suited for team play with a friend, especially when you're scattered across the map. The gameplay encourages cooperation and police work. The timers are active, not static. The main problem with this game is the bugs, which hinder the player's enjoyment and mission completion. Fixing them and making the interface more user-friendly (larger fonts and icons) would improve the game. I'd definitely want to play it a second time. Overall, it's a great game for the money that will brighten up your evening. I wish the Canadian developers continued development and continued success!

I don'y care about voice command. But the game is really buggy and time frame of the game is really weird. After mission replay the clipboard thing just become empty and I cannot give anyone that medal they earned. If I want to go back to any previous screen and come back, everything would just bugged out and you'll have to start everything again. The troops move crazy fast on the map, and conversations pop up at the same time everywhere you cannot process what's happening unless you pause the game yourself. And the conversation is boring with no depth and storytelling in the dialogues. I like what you did to the command wheel thing and newspaper clips and the old footage and toy soldiers. But the visual elements kind of doesn't match each other, for example the combat effects would feel more cohesive if they're "flatter", like 2D or something. The game failed to capture the essence of the remote audio command vibe in radio commander. BTW the unnecessary tent view thing takes up ridiculously lot of system resources and even crashes on older video cards, it's not acceptable with so few visible things to see.
What a great concept... but: It just doesnt work. I use a room mic (siren v3) and it picks up perfectly yet the speech recognition is like from 20 years ago... just terrible... and since that is kind of the main feature of this game, I can´t give it a thumbs up. Ill revisit this game once they have learned what AI is and what it´s capable of these days.
pretty sick ass game
It's a cool concept, but not nearly as interesting as I thought it would be. Still, perfectly passable RTS game with an interesting twist.
good game
Oh, what's that? Five years ago? Another radio commanding game? Cool, i wanna try this. Three Hours later

BARK BARK BARK, -Tfu blyat, Baker, move to Location 1
I SAID FIRE BARRAGE AT HOTEL 3, HOW DID YOU HEARD GOLF 8?!
My english isn't good enough, i know that, but WHY CAN'T YOU HEAR MY "ANTI-TANK GUN" IF EVEN GOOGLE TRANSLATE HEARD THAT!?
I could have bad english accent or not good enough microphone for this game, but i just decided to call this "radio interference". But it still plays fun and i'm happy with purchase.
