Crime Boss: Rockay City

The game is not well optimized and is 92GB on the harddrive. So its your average Unreal Engine experience with a okay at best coop game attached to it.

the game is fun dont get me wrong the movement feels like it has weight and the cops hit hard 1. but the fact that when iam in a loud heist my gun sometimes will not shoot when clicking my mouse several times this was before the most recent update and its still a present bug after the update for just the fact that my guns dont shoot when i want em to 2. the ai heisters are insanely bugged or just braindead they will push out of cover without firing a single bullet or just roam around FAR away sometimes they juststand there while several cops are just magdumping them they will not respond this creates an loop of reviving your AI teammates them getting downed again and then them dying if it AI was somewhat decent they would at least shoot at every cop that is within a certain range but this doenst happen they will just stare at someone who is dumping lead at them and they will just tank it and die. iam not one to generally rage at games but when a team AI wanders into the line of sight of 7 swat agents when iam running for the extract for the 20th time i get close to punching my monitor if these points are fixed i will revert my rating to recommend this game because it is realy fun i bought it a year or 2 ago enjoyed it every now and again but i come back to a barrely playable game that struggles at basic things in the current state of the game i DO NOT RECOMMEND you buy this game

how does this game not have an ai warning on the page it has some of the worst immersion breaking ai posters on some mp maps and on coffee machines for no reason. u have the vanilla ice assets for that mission why do this

I bought it at -90% discount expecting a cheap payday clone for 1 gaming session, but I was wrong. Funny enough, the game is good enough and considering its price, I say it's worth it. Not "dumping a 100+ hours in it" good, but still pretty nice. Miles better than Payday 3 lmao.

This game goes on sale for stupidly cheap, and at that price I'd recommend grabbing it with friends. It's... decent, at best, but most importantly it's a complete gas leak of a game. It keeps proving itself incoherent and more and more unexpected ways, and for that it's a fun time despite itself. Two bucks is worth it for some new vocal stims, basically.

I won't lie Chuck pulled me in and I got a fun-casual-FPS-heist game. In these days when everything "has to be" absolutely amazing with the 11/10 mind-blowing story it's very pleasant to play a simple visually 90s filled "regular shooter" with good gameplay and a star cast.

Thought this game would be tacky and bad when I first saw it. Am genuinely surprised how decent it is. Legitimately better than payday 3. Although would like to see a more expansive character creation/gun creation. The gameplay itself is great!

buddy do i gotta say, what a bounceback. this is more or less what payday 3 should have been. devs refuse to give up on it, releasing new heists and modes pretty often. they do a great job of communicating with the player base as far as bugs and whatnot are concerned. its on sale all the time. buy it on steam or try to get a key of the first month edition which comes with the 2 heist dlcs, usually on key sites for like $2. its worth it!!!
