an epic rouge like, by Double-fine studios. One of my favorite games. It can be a good stress relief smashing crates and mutated things. my favorite part is that a run is never the same twice.

This game is really hard for me :(

Sad to see this game didnt get the love it deserved. the concept was original to an extent but there were better eays to capitalize on it. still a fun game if you’re looking for a challenge.

Hmmm... honestly its a bit difficult review. Is it a bad game? No - but it isn't quite great either. My main gripe, compared to other roguelites that I like - is that it feels somewhat empty. This improves after a few runs (each failed run unlocks more stuff for you), but the core combat isn't super satisfying even with various mutations changing how you should fight, so I am not quite sure how much will I be playing it. Graphics are pretty great, characters and environments are too, but it just sort of feels very basic. Its very polished on the visuals and audio side but gameplay really feels like its secondary to everything else. Sad, but, again, not a bad game...

I'm mixed on this game, it's not awful, but it doesn't give me that one more run feel. I'm VERY picky about my rougelike/lite games. Even looking at the game from an arcade like game angle, it doesn't hold me. I recommend a sale.

RAD certainly has the whacky and ridiculous charm you'd expect from a Double Fine game, but does not offer much in terms of gameplay. What's there is okay, but could not keep me playing. The game feels grindy and repetetive with only little character progress. It's an okay experience but not very satifsfying. Another two iterations of gameplay polishing basec on user feedback could have improved that. Not very RAD, just okay. Score: 5.5/10
