Guapísimo, sobran palabras.

Somehow Lee Petty's games keep getting worse and worse. Stacking was pretty good. Headlander kind of blew chunks. But this? This sucks. It is the worst game Double Fine has ever made. Did they just wrap it up after Microsoft acquired the studio and pushed it out the door? The game is incredible ugly, even for the target platform of the Nintendo Switch. I don't know how such barren game can have character models be this low poly unless its intentional. Its leaning into the parody of 80s aesthetic is embarrassing. I'm not the target audience for this since I'm not into roguelikes, but as someone that wanted to give it a chance, I don't understand it. The same empty boring environments and bland shallow combat over and over. Maybe this game is for someone out there, but I don't know who.

They go tryhard corny 90s with this and there's nothing 'cool' about it. It's pretty substandard gameplay with goofy cartoon enemies. It's like playing a zero budget Lego video game but no fun injected into it and pretty cheap deaths sprinkled in. No invul period with this type of game is pretty obnoxious, you'll just die in a second in some acid pool or not recover fast enough and get exploded on. Tedious and really plain.

x-- 6/10 --x It's fun, I just found the difficulty a little too unpredictable. Some runs were easy, others I'd end up dying in mintues. Maybe it's a user error. Also, game was a bit glitchy in certain parts.

an epic rouge like, by Double-fine studios. One of my favorite games. It can be a good stress relief smashing crates and mutated things. my favorite part is that a run is never the same twice.

RAD certainly has the whacky and ridiculous charm you'd expect from a Double Fine game, but does not offer much in terms of gameplay. What's there is okay, but could not keep me playing. The game feels grindy and repetetive with only little character progress. It's an okay experience but not very satifsfying. Another two iterations of gameplay polishing basec on user feedback could have improved that. Not very RAD, just okay. Score: 5.5/10

A very enjoyable little game! It doesn't have a very long lifespan, but it does the job and you won't get bored. PS: Be warned, the final boss is tough.

i love double fine but good lord this game controls horribly and the artstyle is just not great i hope they try again with a post apocalyptic game 4/10
