Quest for Infamy

It´s a great game, very long and full of things to uncover. The story is very well arranged and it makes you want to know more, it looks like the developers have a deep love for the genre, and you can tell the Quest for Glory influence in it. As a HUGE fan of this games and having played a lot of them throughout my childhood I can say that i´am extremely happy that new games like this one are still being created. Thanks to the developers and keep them coming!! Love from Argentina.

Felt as if I was playing a classic Sierra point & click. Took me back to my childhood. There are a few minor bugs here and there but they really don't take much out of the fun. I also loved the different possibilities the game gives you. You choose one of three different paths, which have their own quests and give you their own skills and abilities and, apart from that, there are many optional things that you can do or you can miss. Overall a really good game.

The humor fell flat for me, and there's so much weaved within the game that I imagine it can be a bit of a sore point if you aren't a fan of it. The voice acting is pretty good and the artwork is great. Puzzles are a bit obtuse at times and I found myself somewhat irritated at the many times progress came to a stop because I hadn't found some random NPC that I needed to talk to. In the end it's certainly not for me, but I do think adventure fans might be interested. If you enjoyed the Quest for Glory games and want something slightly similar this might be a good pick.

I love this game!! I love the mystery and humor. The narrator constantly makes me laugh. I'm playing it for the second time (first time on Steam) while I wait for the sequel (for almost a decade!). I really hope the developer gets well soon and continues his great work (and brings us Order of the Thorn II too).

Gra dla koneserów. Porównać ją mogę do ogranych King Quest lub Eco Quest 20 lat temu. Ta sama kreska, piękny baśniowy świat. Trudna ze względu na nieoczywiste kombinacje przedmiotów. Po poznaniu świata i jej mieszkańców będziemy coraz bardziej wczuwać się w rolę którą wybierzemy. W barze możemy zaciągnąć się do roli zbója i nasza przygoda będzie polegać na napadach rabunkowych. Jeżeli zaciągniemy się jako złodziej u opryszków pod fontanną w mieście będziemy raczej kradli ze sklepów czy wykonywali zlecenia od króla złodziei. Okradali domy w nocy lub bank. Trzecia i ostatnia profesja to czarodziej. Daje nam możliwość używania 4 zaklęć użytkowych i pięciu bitewnych choć te czasem są użyteczne i do rozwiązywania zagadek. Bitwy są proste i prymitywne. Nie przeszkadza to bo upiory, wilki, pająki itp. wychodzą dopiero w nocy. Trzy pory czyli dzień, wieczór i noc dają poczucie głębszej przygody. Niestety to zwiększa trudność. Niektóre postacie pojawiają się w nocy inne tylko wieczorem. Dialogi są interesujące i zabawne. Postaci pięknie narysowane. Gra ma też swoje bolączki. Walka odstaje od oprawy graficznej czy pięknie narysowanej wielowątkowej historii. Aż się prosi o walkę jak w Herosach na szachownicy z wieloma postaciami. Rozdzielczość sprawia kłopoty gdyż jest max 1600 x 1200 co na full ekranie może zawieszać pulpit przy zmianie okna. Na szczęście gra w oknie nie sprawia kłopotów. Jeżeli nie wiemy co robić możemy pójść do cyganki do namiotu i zapłacić za wskazówkę ale to niewiele pomaga. Przydałby się tryb podświetlania przedmiotów użytecznych w danej lokacji by nie przeklikiwać ich wszystkich na wszystko. Gra jest długa, ciekawa i klimatyczna. Tylko dla koneserów. 7/10.

Quest for Infamy was made in the classic point-and-click adventure style of King's Quest and Quest for Glory, or the newer games like Heroine's Quest. it features the fairly easy fights, cheesy puns, puzzles and all that good stuff. Beautifully made for the genre, and fun to play.

If you have a soft spot for old school gaming, you can't go wrong with this little treasure! My only complaint is we don't have a second game yet!

I am having a blast with this title. If you love classic Sierra games, especially the Quest for Glory series, you are going to lose yourself in this game. Nailed the music, nailed the look, nailed the snarky humor. I have only found one minor glitch as of yet, and it was really my fault. Do yourself a favor, pour a drink, do not look at any walkthroughs, kick back and enjoy this title.

AMAZING GAME and HIDDEN GEM. If you like the 90" games of SIERRA you will love it. It's the most similar of "QUEST FOR GLORY" that you will find in Steam. Pros: -The voice acting -The jokes -The MUSIC is very immersive!! 5 stars to the composer -The scenarios are great (remind me King's Quest) Cons: -Graphics are in low resolution (320x240) . It can be pixelated but in 4k screen. Coclusion: If you like classic games adventures BUY IT!!!
