IRON GUARD

Great game, one of the go to games now when I put on a headset. Its a tower defense game so if you don't like them this won't change that but for me this is a reason to put on a headset rather than just sit in front of a flat screen. The feeling of hovering over a battle field and controlling the building and deployment hits the right fun spots!

One of the earlier hidden gems of VR Tower Defence/Strategy games. Take a decent Tower Defence game and add a shoot em up in the form of your drone (which is liking being a kid and holding a space ship in your hands) and you have Iron Guard. Im only map 16 (out of 50 I believe) and enjoying both the story arc, biomes and seemingly constant upgrade paths. Units are well balanced as are the defensive guns. This along with Ghost Signal in a bundle represent great value for money and a good 30 hours of gaming to get into.

Играл бывало в таких позах, что камасутре и не снилось! ахаха))) В общем прошел игру на 100% - Очень хорошая, душевная игра. В 2025 играется классно, все вроде отполировано, достижения, отсылочки на другие игры (пока не увидел достижение, я этого и не увидел)!!! Игра топ, меня лично унесло с головой! Даже сюжет есть (В режиме кинотеатра, когда расказывается сюжет, картиночки круто, не ново, но круто, некое разнообразие!) Придирки: - Игра от русского разраба, без русской озвучки? (Зовите, может мой бархатный голос именно то, что нужно этой игре (ЧСВшно) - Хотелось бы чуть боьше графики (по началу), потом привык и не замечал уже. - Спасибо за самолетики (Пару уровней мне запороли знатно (вспоминал разработчика)) - В моменте поймал себя на мысли, ну сколько можно жать этот курок для выстрела. - Нельзя прокачать все умения (очень хотелось (так и не посмотрел на лазерную турель и не прокочал базу и дрона) Это все придирки, которые я смог из себя выдавить!!!! В общем игра мего залипательная, ОЧЕНЬ РЕКОМЕНДУЮ!!!

I think for under $10 this is a must buy. I'm really impressed. Because of the low review count I get the concern spending $20 for a game. I will say having been burned many, many, many times. :). Good story and direction through the campaign. This one is one of the few exception I would pay up to $20 for sure. Great jobs DEV's on this one. Some enhancements I would recommend: __Health status on main base (when some get through it would be nice to see a damage indicator or something). __Sometimes I noticed while trying to upgrade from a distance the turrets wouldn't select. __Would love to see if it's possible to crank up the graphics more in the settings. __Profiles; Would be nice to see profiles. My son want's to play but if he plays under my account and has never played he gets toasted. __Get more Gears; I've hit a wall a couple of times during game play where I need more of an advantage or different plan of attack. Either way it would be nice if you can go and replay older missions for some gears that would allow you to upgrade your skills. My specs: i9 9900k 32GB RAM 1TB M2 5080 GPU Quest 3 (WIFI)

Ты знаешь, что такое безумие? Неплохой, оптимизированный TD с шутерной механикой и большим таким недостатком: сложность неадекватная, растёт непропорционально. На один уровень может уйти десятки попыток и сбросов прокачки, а следующий проходится с первого раза. Очков за все уровни едва хватает на половину апгрейдов. Без нормального выбора экспериментировать особо не хочется. От прохождения у меня сильно припекало. Разрабы ещё мощную защиту валюты сделали. Если посмотреть на достижения: Начали играть 70% владельцев. Прошли сколько-то уровней ~15% Прошли игру полностью только 6% Я сам дропал игру, но решил дострадать. Выбора в VR немного, да и копейки стоит на распродаже. Правда, с нормальным балансом и менее унылыми уровнями было бы намного лучше.

Works on Reverb G2. Iron Guard is a solid VR Tower Defence, partially dragged down by an absence of challenge in the first half. It was still addictive even on the easier levels, but after 20th level the game really clicked for me. It was the first level that required skill point reallocation and change of strategy for me, and this is the best part of TD games, IMHO. While VR does not add much to the gameplay (controlling a Xortex-like drone to shoot dumb predictable targets is not much fun), it lets the player see huge portion of the level from any point on the map. And sci-fi environments look really good as miniature dioramas. The campaign took me solid 10 hours to complete. The story was interesting at first and well presented with fully voiced-over briefings, but then it just did not go anywhere.

Очень хороший VR tower defence. Есть даже какой то сюжет, но вникать в него совсем нет желания т.к. подан очень скучно, главное что геймплей затягивающий. Не понравилось что все башни надо прокачивать каждый уровень с нуля, т.е. их глобальная прокачка между уровнями открывает только доступ к левел апу. Из-за этого старт каждого уровня чутка затянутый. Ну и то что башни можно ставить только в строго определённых местах, мало вариативности. Так же не очень хорошо что все волны заранее прописаны и мобы в них движутся всегда стандартно. Не хватает не много рандома.

Great game. I enjoyed it.
