About
Enter a living fantasy world where heroes travel, trade, fight, level, and pursue their goals. Watch towns grow, dungeons evolve, economies shift, and adventurers carve their own paths across the realm as you influence the world from the perspective of a Merchant and Guild Master, safe at his shop. Every decision you make contributes to a constantly evolving MMORPG-inspired simulation filled with opportunity, danger, and discovery.
Create and manage your own guild of adventurers, beginning with a loyal group of customizable officers who will follow your commands into the realm’s greatest dangers. Potentially even to their deaths. Recruit promising heroes from across the world, specialize their roles, equip them with powerful gear, and assemble parties capable of conquering deadly dungeons, world events, and large-scale raids. As your guild grows in strength and reputation, so too will its influence across the kingdom.
You are more than a guild master, you are a driving force behind the realm itself. Craft valuable equipment, upgrade resource networks, and post strategic quests that influence the actions of adventurers throughout the world. Encourage heroes toward unexplored regions, strengthen the economy of nearby settlements, and help shape the progression of the realm through careful planning and long-term strategy.
Except for your Guild Officers, heroes throughout the kingdom act on their own ambitions, forming parties, accepting quests, exploring dangerous regions, and competing for fame, fortune, and survival. Some may rise to become legends known across the kingdom, while others fall during perilous expeditions. Through both triumph and failure, the world continuously evolves around the stories created by its adventurers and the choices you make along the way.
Tailor the experience to your preferred style of play with multiple gameplay options, including a more forgiving experience on Softcore, or a high-stakes Hardcore mode featuring permanent hero death. In harsher settings, every expedition carries meaningful risk, adding tension and long-term consequence to your decisions while rewarding careful preparation, strategy, and resource management. Or, just fish all day.
Note, this review gets updated depending on the current state of the game
This is the game I currently want, problem is, it is made out of missed potential and performance issues. And yes, I am aware, this is EA. Still, I review what it is tight now and not the potential. The issue is the type of game, means a lot of expectations, and it's main issues: [olist]
Performance. Very laggy. Crahes. It does not just crash, it nukes the PC and forces a restart. This on it's own is a "not" reccomend. Also, sometimes your saves do load, effectively removing your entire progress.
[strike]Inventory. This will burn most of your time. Billions of clicks. If there were an inventory system like Terraria, this game would improve by 65%[/strike] Actually fixed. The game is now 65% better! [/olist]
The good:

Auto battler is really neat. This combined with the DPS meter makes it very satisfying.
Auto questing NPCs is also very satisfying.
The game looks decent.
The actual game gimmick is neat.
Gearing is kind of neat. Sadly units replace their ♥♥♥♥ if they are on Free Roam. Well. Sometimes.

The rest:

Only one Hero at the beginning means a lot of waiting. No fun.
Music is generic. Not bad, but forgetable. No fun.
Nothing is clear. What to do? Why to do? How to do? Tutorial is not that helpful.
UI is absolutely no fun.
No meaning of diffrent cities. Why even pretend to be a merchant if there is no meaningfull trading?
Performance issues and crashes. VERY FREQUENTLY! Also some saves become "unloadable". Reming your entire progress.
No point in having "members". They all will die horrybly in the next 10 man dungeon.
The quests from the villigers are not good. 1k wool?!? Seriosly? The scaling is off for the amount it is feasable to get and the rewrds are really bad. Also deliveries? 8K of whatever? Why is there even weight system if BS like this exists? It is even worse in the beta.

Something I would like to see to have the game of all times

Officers themselves should be able to recruit members on their own. Even if they are only lvl 1, remove the missive system entirely. Members die to frequently or bug out.
Music. More different tracks.
We need a CLEAR direction system. Everyone has to play the same. For a game like this, it is more than "just" wasted potential. Let's say 10 adventurer officers and then a few management officers. Why not have diffrent type of branches for the guild depending on the management officer? Maybe a system like Black Desert? We can start as a mining guild with minerals as the focus, with a minig focused officier. It will have certain perks like stablishing a camp or have dedicated workers. And then we can build a new branch with a new branch as in trading, adventuring, lumber and so on.
UI is trash. No idea what and where to click. In addition it is made for dwarf-ants. Distinguish Officers from Members. I know UI is hard, but still, people who would love this game, will lose patience very quickly.
We need meaning to cities. Cities could demand materials for tennants or could be under attack or have some other quests. Have weather effects, or floods, draughts, so there is an actual need for helping them. Trading routes, roads for caravans with reccources, could be under attack or need to be repaired or build. The current system is not good, unrewarding and the scaling is absurd.
We also should be able to buy and sell reccources with cities. Sell high, buy low. Like a merchant would. Althought, at some point money is meaningless.
[strike]Give us an option for officers to forbid them entering raids when free roam. Seriosly, it is so annoying to level them for hours and then they just walk to a raid and die.[/strike] Addressed it by adding a new "difficulty"
2/10 [I really tried to like this game but its just not it] Not sure what the game is going for.. its quite "unique".. but in a way that it doesn't know what the hell it wants to be. because of this it does nothing good, just kinda meh.. Pretty much all systems in the game are pointless and for show. You could probably "beat" the game quickest by putting 1 quest on the second fishing spot for energy and just throwing officers into dungeons repeatedly. I want to stress that every other feature of the game is 100% pointless and adds nothing but wasted time for 0 gain. Its very lacking in the management sector. There are way too many missing management tools. you cant setup a way to automatically refuse items from NPC's so you have to constantly click deny else your inventory is filled by low level items that no one buys. The fact you have click on each GIVE quest and ACCEPT each return of a quest is horrible. The NPC's returning quests never come to you.. you have to walk around and find them in your market area (this is completely pointless to have). There is 0 point to fishing by yourself in the game.. if you put a quest on the 2nd fishing spot your inventory will be full off energy fish eliminating any energy costs. The fact that i have to pause all activity to craft something is very stupid.. should just be able to select what you want to craft and have it automatically done by a henchmen or something. otherwise it takes up to 10 minutes to craft 1 item that is usually subpar to dungeon loot making it pointless anyway. NPC's have unrealistic outcomes in dungeons, level 10's run around with level 1 gear and 5-10dps and can clear the first raid. but when i sent 2x level 11 officers with +40dps and 600+ health and a random npc both my officers were wiped despite being stacked with tons of gear. Basically NPC economy is just for show and means ABSOLUTELY nothing... so nothing in this game really means anything. its literally just a click for $$ and send your hero with stats vs dungeon stats. UI is horrendous, slow, clunky and makes 0 sense. DEVS really need to go and take a page from other modern management sims, this feels like a game from 1998 UI is literally 20+ years outdated. Honestly yall need to take a weekend and sit in a silent room with a white board and figure out wtf you guys are doing here...
This game needs a complete UI overhaul and despite the tutorial being walls and walls of text, nothing is clear... The tutorial can say "Click the In progress tab in the top right"... I didn't have any "In progress" anything in the top right. What it wanted me to do was go in to the crafting menu and click one of the buttons for the In progress menu. And you can't progress the intro quest / tutorial until you do exactly what the tutorial wants you to do. The tutorial asked me to choose "ANY" command for my officer. I chose fishing. Apparently that was the wrong choice and the tutorial only progressed once I chose gathering. Shortly after this I just quit. Everything is too messy and I really cant be bothered to guess what the game wants me to do just so that I can progress the tutorial.
Played 2 hours tutorial, everything is messy and don't know what to do. it's okay, I will take a break and finish the tutorial tomorrow. Next day after 2 more hours tutorial, I gave up without finish the tutorial. First, I never played a game that need 4+ hours tutorials. Playing this game is like go to school and read a 300 pages textbook. Second, playing this game is not fun at all. Horrible UI, take too much computer resource, repeat the same thing again and again, lagging, and etc..... I totally fooled by the great game preview and the beautiful screen shoots. Please don't make the same mistake like I do.
You get to be an NPC shopkeeper in a big MMORPG world. You can trade stuff, make cool things, and lead a guild. The best part is going on adventures, like exploring dungeons and fighting big bosses and no more having to wait on 40 other people to come online to do it. The game looks awesome with all its colors and characters. And the music makes it feel alive. Even though it's just for one player, there's a lot to do. You can keep playing and finding new stuff to do. Devs are VERY responsive and i can't wait for the upcoming updates (especially the UI one)
This game has a great premise, and I really want to see it succeed. Currently, it's being made by a small team with with little-to-no education in game development, and no experience with interface design. The interface doesn't use any industry conventions, it's shot-gunned all over the screen with no rhyme or reason behind its deployment; and it's trying to shove too much information down the users' throat at once. It needs a complete overhaul. WASD character control has been around for 20 years, but the movement controls don't use any industry conventions either. I really want to see this game rise to its potential, and I hope these issues are corrected.
exceedingly obtuse and horrible UI really makes this a very poor experience there is a lot of potential, seems like it could be a good game at some point but needs a lot of work right now to even get to okay
Highly enjoyable and relaxing, learning curve is pretty low as of right now. I think personally in its current state its worth a purchase while on sale the current 14.99 seems fair. (I'll update as it progresses) The micro managing isn't there YET that scratches that satisfying itch of min maxing and tailoring sales to your liking for your guild, the concept is taking form though and I see great promise. As the game sits there is very little tailoring you can do with your guild, I don't feel like a guild master, and i don't really feel like a merchant either, more of a courier if im being blunt. The perma death of your heroes and losing all that juicy gear you equip them with is really satisfying and keeps you on your toes, one of my favorite features. You may ask why recommend the game? Well #1 the foundation is there to become what it's touted to be, with the developer putting in updates and features that are real QOL. It's early access and this one has legs, plus ive never played a game quite like it. I'm looking forward to see what happens with it and so far the devs are amazingly on their toes plus i like the idea its being made by siblings!
I have enjoyed this game so far and it has a lot of potential! Its a super unique style that the devs are going for. Go into it knowing what it is and what stage its at. The gameplay can be rewarding. If you are into trading, crafting and idle-ish games id give this a try for sure. I can see this taking off and the devs also seem super passionate with this project and extremely productive with their attention to their community. Considering how hard it is for these small dev teams to get started in the game industry these days, they're doing great! Excited to play more of this and see where it goes.
