About
From the twisted minds that brought you Universal Paperclips and Babble Royale comes a timeless tale about numbers going up and going down, the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat, reverse mergers, spooky action at a distance, and a 3-ton whale with a day job.

50/50. Totally random. Totally fair.
You sit down after a tough day to play your favorite video game. Of course you have to wait 10 minutes to get into a match. When you finally do get into a game, you're up against the sweatiest kids you've ever seen. Meanwhile, the idiots on your team have apparently never even heard of a keyboard. After that guaranteed loss, it's another 10 minute wait just to get into a game with someone who screams at you the whole time and then leaves halfway through. As usual, you played your "favorite" video game for the entire night and the only thing you got was mad.
Sound familiar? We've been there. That's why we made Q-UP! Every single round of Q-UP is determined by the result of a coin flip, so every single round of Q-UP is completely fair. No more smurfs ruining your games. No more inters. No more tryhards. No more stupid reaction times or mechanics. Just perfectly fair matches, every single time.

The build system here is the actual game. Once you have level 50 and access to a large set of gear there's actually a decent number of decision points. The grind to get there sucks a bit though
terrible game. fluffed their reviews before the sale, its not even a game. this would be quite a funny parody if it were free. making me pay for their joke? go F yourself.
Realistically, I could refund this, because the gameplay's just an incremental, build optimisation auto-battler at its core, and I'm not really about that life. However, it offers a competent meta commentary and I rate a developer for putting something like this out there, so I'd recommend picking it up just to support developers doing quirky things.

it's fun and well designed. they should remove matching against ai, it's less fun. if you like balatro, or any type of stack and combo games, give this a chance. it's a good game for alttabbing. the visuals and animations are satisfying, and the game feels unique.
Started a match Diamond 2, dropped to Bronze 1, and shot to Master 2. GOATED game.
To be clear: The fun is not in playing the game, it's the game itself. The 'play' part is largely just to push the narrative forward, and that's where the laughs are to be had. As you explore the odd nooks and crannies, you'll find yourself Not At All wrapped up in confusing legal language, trapped in a Zork-like forest, and freshly employed and possibly part of a vast conspiracy. Does that make sense? Good. We're on the same page now.
Definitely a hit or miss for each individual player. I went into this thinking it was a silly game I’d play for a bit and forget about, next thing I know I’m spending 2 hours trying to perfect my skill tree and optimize everything. Haven’t even played for a full week and I genuinely have lost sleep because I was trying to create a new build in my head. Again, not for everyone, but WOW this game is better than you would think. Genuinely in-depth and makes my brain melt at times.
Maybe it's just not for me, but the 'parody' elements didn't outweigh the lack of much else going on with this one
Entire "game" is the 'I see what you did there" meme, assuming you've kept up with how modern PVP matchmaking works. It's a coinflip autobattler. There is technically some gameplay in how you design your skills board but it's not fun. Not sure why anyone would recommend or play this.
