Not a very fun game. 1 useless temporary system after another. Not really complex, as they all pretty much do the same things, just pointless and tedious. 1/5.
It seems like a nice idle game. There are several mechanics that gradually unlock - party members, monsters that can join the party and give boosts, factions, camp, equipment, etc, several currencies that are used for different things - give boosts to party members, give other boosts to party members, craft equipment, buy faction medallions, enchant equipment, etc. Basically you collect boosts from many differect sources on your characters and progress. The game has some timers that require waiting 6 hours or even a day, so it's more on an idle side. Still there are some things to do if you want to play more actively, for example, do solo runs for extra boosts or reset more often for more heroic gems and affinities. Overall an interesting idle game.
Like another user submitted, I enjoy the game very much, but the completionist in me is upset because after I reached around wave 1348 it started reaching infinite hp and NaN values to where you have to go to a new mission and cannot continue further. Absolutely would suggest that people pick it up for the fun playing of it (in my opinion), however unless the game creator cares enough to resolve this bug then it won't be something that can be finished achievement wise
Game is overcomplicated. You have hundreds of different windows where you can increase power of your team. The point is that it is not fun, very confusing and boring. I really like to support Clicker/Idle game developers but I can not recommend this game.
Progression doesn't feel good enough for an idler
Unfortunately encountered a lot of bugs. Dev reached out and assisted with one but now I'm at the end of the game and my currency keeps reading NaN when it goes above a certain amount meaning I can't get the final achievement and finish the game. Its not bad and has a few features to keep it going along, however the game breaking bugs have resulted in my downvote. If its patched out at somepoint in the future I might try and just wrap this up, but it seems the hardest monster to hunt is the game itself.
It's clear that this is a passion project with a lot of content. Overall, there are too many types of upgrades and currencies. They are introduced too quickly, have unclear impact, and are unmemorable, so it just all kind of blurs together. For example, I just unlocked World Shifts. The World Shift page says that World Shifts cost Star Gems. I have some Star Gems, but I don't know where I got them or how to get more. There's just this new page with 12 World Shift choices I can spend Star Gems on. There's also a message that World Shifts will give me Energized Nuggets, but I don't know where I'll use those, and this screen doesn't say. This has got to be the 10th feature that's just like this -- a new feature, that costs or bestows a new currency, and maybe provides a benefit if I don't choose wrong, but isn't really explained in full and doesn't feel connected to anything that came before. There's not enough information surfaced in the right places for me to make strategic decisions. For a while it was interesting to just click along, knowing 75% of it wasn't really clear but generally finding buttons that made numbers go up. But at World Shifts, I just realized it wasn't fun to constantly feel buried in disjointed features, and the situation wasn't going to change.
Seems neat so far, feels like a mix of Clicker Heroes with some other familiar concepts but I'm still early on and unlocking new mechanics that look like they'll be going in an interesting direction with automation/idle stuff. Looking forward to seeing more of it!
Only played for a few hours, but already find it enjoyable and very AFK-able! My first monster pet is a killer ice cream cone looking thing and I am hooked. Game looks like you can play it for a long time. So worth it for the very very cheap price it's listed as.
Solid clicker/idler with more comolexity than most flooding the Steam store lately. Took me about 22 hours of running the game to unlock all achievements.
