A fun, albeit quite short Halloween indie platformer with a really nice visual style that hearkens back to old PS2/PS3 platformers. The gameplay loop is incredibly simple, boiling down to basic Skylanders-esque hack-and-slash, but it undoubtedly pulls off that formula well. I didn't ever find myself losing interest in the game until I had already done everything there was to do. Bosses are generally pretty well designed and varied, never being too easy but also having well-designed attacks with predictable/learnable tells. I appreciate that the weapons you unlock throughout the length of the game are balanced well enough that you can almost use any one of them you like best without being too disadvantaged. The game never felt particularly "difficult," with me maybe dying 2-3 times throughout my entire first playthrough; If you crave gameplay that challenges you or makes you think tactically, the game may get monotonous after a while. Post-game content is the pretty standard collect-a-thon stuff you'd expect in a 3D platformer of this type. It's not a very long game, especially at its price range, with me getting every achievement in a little over 7 hours (and that's with me taking my sweet time). I do notice complaints about performance, but I can't really add anything to that discussion since the game ran well for me with no issues. The story's nothing to write home about, but it is always fun to turn the tables on typical character formula and be forced to play as a bad guy on a mission to wipe out the good in the world. I think Pumpkin Jack is a really good, polished platformer that I find suitable for just about any gamer that doesn't despise platformers. If you like Crash Bandicoot or Skylanders, this'll be your cup of tea from a gameplay angle. It strikes a satisfying balance of not being too hard, making it a good choice for kids and less experienced gamers, while remaining just complex and varied enough to not be an absolute slog for more seasoned gamers like myself. $30 USD is a pretty ludicrous price for what you get, so I can't in my right mind say it's worth that amount of money, but the game frequently goes on deep discounts (I got it 80% off on a sale a while back) and it's such a solid game I absolutely think you should keep your eye on it, it's a pretty slept-on gem. I will add that the game gets going pretty early, so either way you'll certainly know within the first two hours of gameplay if you just don't like the game and need to refund it. Support indie developers. Looking forward to Evil Raptor's multiplayer western shooter that'll go into early access this year.

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Overly committed to outdated, PS2 era design conventions, Pumpkin Jack’s shortcomings are apparent; however, its musical score and art direction balance the experience.

Pros:
The music is phenomenal and masterfully captures the essence of whimsical spooky. The art direction is delightful, as is the lighthearted story, and together, these two elements encouraged me to complete the game.
Cons:
Primarily due to a lack of visual feedback, no invincibility frames and poor hit detection, combat is absolutely atrocious. Platforming, while better in terms of controls, can be cumbersome. Multiple chase sequences, balance sections, and mini-games within each level are repetitious, especially when they’re a part of every level’s design.

Amazing game definitely worth playing.
Real fun short platformer were you DOOM THE WORLD as a cool evil pumpkin man, It fun to jump about, meet the goobers of the world and get a laught out of the jokes and evil deed ye do. only thing i can say would need work is i wish there was a bit more going on with the combat as it feel like the game wanted to do more with it but it still fun overall for what it is.
A fun and stylish romp! Definitely not perfect. the scripted chase sequences could be very hit or miss, and the combat is a little messy, but the environments are beautiful, the levels are exciting, the music is fun and campy, the characters are charming, and I was solidly entertained the whole way through. My favorite little detail was the way fire would naturally spread over any wooden surface. It made for a surprisingly dynamic detail that I wish had been incorporated into the level design more
