Despite the game being so cheap and the developer giving it away for free regularly I sincerely can't recommened it. The whole thing feels like someone scattared a bunch of random assets around the map and called it a day. The game has no soul. The whole premise of this 3D adventure platformer is that you have to find 24 water tears in total in 8 distinct environments and you can collect red and blue berries along the way to purchase 3 cosmetics and a few perks. Sure, the map might be big but that doesn't make the gameplay any less redundant. There are enemies too but you can happily ignore most of them.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Definitely an improvement from the first game but still very janky in some areas. Personally still couldn't get into it but if you pick it up heavily discounted, Maybe give it a go then?
overall good. can recommend it.

If you want to relax b4 going to bed is a good game. Woodle Tree 2: Deluxe+ 7/10 Heisen
If I'm being brutally honest, I'd have to say the original Woodle Tree wasn't exactly a good game. It felt more like an alpha proof of concept with a soundtrack reminiscent of someone banging their head on a keyboard. So imagine my surprise when Woodle Tree 2 turned out to be pretty decent! It's clear the developer has learned much since the original game, so now there are more proper mechanics and better game design. It's still a bit rough around the edges, and has it's share of issues like the simple enemy AI, monotonous platforming sections and some of the collectibles required for beating the story being very obtuse. I have no clue how I was meant to know a droplet was in a secret underwater cave without looking up a guide. The game suffers from some technical hiccups and bugginess. I encountered an issue where the game would stutter violently whenever moving the camera, usually after playing a while, and would have to restart the game to resolve it. A couple of times the game froze up during loading screens and never recovered. There's definitely a competent and surprisingly enjoyable platformer in here for those willing to put up with a bit of jank, and I'm personally excited to see how the developer has grown for their next game!
This is a vast improvement from Woodle Tree 1. While it still suffers from jank, glitch, and framerate issues, at least this sequel feels playable. The open world nature of this game is a welcome evolution of the first title. It is a lot of fun. I do not like the "play with a friend" achievement, because... what if you don't have any friends? If I had friends, I probably wouldn't be playing Woodle Tree 2.

This is a mostly simple 3D platforming collectathon. This game is easy except for a couple of the secret levels. The 100% is a little tedious without a guide but doable. This is a 5/10 game but still recommended for casual 3D platformer fans. It does have some bugs but those can be mitigated with fast travel!
