⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 – more atmosphere than a fridge in 1944 When I launched *Call of Duty (2003)*, I expected an old shooter… instead I got a full-on simulator of running after teammates yelling “GO GO GO” faster than I can reload. The game drops you straight into WWII, where instead of being a lone wolf, you're part of a squad – and sometimes they do more than you (which hurts, but respect). Pros: ✔ Movie-level atmosphere – just missing popcorn ✔ AI teammates help you… or steal your kills ✔ Guns sound exactly how they should – loud and painful ✔ No health regeneration – the medic is your best friend Cons: ✖ The game reminds you your reflexes are 40+ (even if you're 20) ✖ Enemy grenades have GPS and your full name saved The best part? A game from 2003 still delivers more immersion than some modern titles. And let’s be honest: **this is definitely better than any Black Ops game** – at least here you know where you are and why people are shooting at you 😎 Summary: If you want to feel like a war hero who yells “WHO THREW THAT GRENADE?!” every 5 minutes, just buy it. Highly recommended. Even my museum-tier PC handled it.
i enjoyed it but it takes some work to get it working on new pcs 7/10 PROS shooting nostalgia vibes set pieces for such a old game CONS alot of bugs to get it working enemies felt like they were placed in really unfair areas sometimes starting to age pretty bad in some ways
The original Call of Duty that covers WWII. - Graphics look nice and hold up well. - The game is roughly 2GB which is such a breath of fresh air when modern games are so focused on making everything as detailed and unoptimized as possible. - No health regen in this game so you heal by finding medkits spread throughout missions or dropped by enemies. I found it to be balenced but it can be annoying if you can't find any and you get unlucky with enemy drops. - No shotguns in this game, probably so enemies don't one shot you in close quarters. - Tank and MG gunner AI seems to target the player over your allies which feels unfair when you have to leave cover. Overall a fun experience.
This version of the game is filled with glitches, softlocks, and is generally unplayable on most systems. Do not bother
Я теперь понял, почему я люблю эту игру. Я люблю мачить фашиков! 10/10
Still good in 2026. (based on singleplayer easy mode)
Possibly the first shooter I played when I was young. Got it on steam recently and the memories are comin back to me. I highly recommend to old fans who miss the old days and newer fans that want to see the routes of this series.
El principio y fin de los grandes shooters singleplayer. Una puta joya reseña en vídeo: https://youtu.be/T1tZoBuUwVo
first: i love this game. it's a classic, that i pretty much played when it came out first and long before the franchise became the over-hyped dlc fest we know today. but: WHY can i not play the english original? WHY do i have to accept the german localisation? as well, activision could have treated us to modern screen resolutions as, at least full HD. particularly with this price tag for a nearly quarter of a century old title, that would have been a nice move. sorry, but this is a disappointment. not accepting it.
针对win11无法启动的问题,可以在·steam源文件夹里找到steam.dll的文件,复制进入游戏源文件夹就可以解决了,游戏是好游戏,很震撼,我的电脑甚至有点跑不动这游戏()
