A pretty fun action platforming game
it gets so annoying so fast combat is repetitive, you get weapons but they don't matter much, puzzles are repetitive, boss fights are forced perspective which screws with movement a lot, which in turn kills you pretty fast, platforming often is too tricky compared to how the character moves, the santa workshop part was ridiculous with how much rng dependent it is, 'fast travel' parts move too fast compared to how slow the left/right movement is, mediocre 'witty' banter I feel like I wasted 4 hours on this waiting for it to get better

I played Akimbot and was curious about Evil Raptor's earlier work. You can tell a lot of the lessons learned went into Akimbot, but Pumpkin Jack has so much original humor I didn't even care, it was just fun! Bonus points for the weapon designs. I beat the game in under 7 hours, but I'd recommend it all the same, especially come Halloween!
