Short but sweet. It's like a repackaged PS1/PS2 era platformer with a lot of charm that, although basic, doesn't overstay its welcome and remains fun throughout the entirety of it.
This was a pretty fun 3D platformer to play through. The music was great, the levels weren't too bad to play along with fun boss fights. It's overall an easy game to beat and 100%. I loved the soundtrack throughout the whole game! I will say that this game is definitely not worth the $30 it wants. I got the game through humble bundle, so if the game is on sale for a cheap price, then I recommend buying it then.

If you love Crash Bandicoot and MediEvil, don't ask any more questions. If you know, you know. Kudos to Yohan Jager for writing an amazing spooky harrypotterish soundtrack for this game.
Pumpkin Jack ist einfach ein richtig geiles Halloween-Spiel. Ich hatte unglaublich viel Spaß damit und war die ganze Zeit komplett im Kürbis-Modus. Das Spiel ist perfekt für alle, die Halloween lieben, aber bei echten Horrorspielen lieber das Licht anlassen, die Tür abschließen und vorsichtshalber noch eine Decke als Schutzschild benutzen. Pumpkin Jack liefert den ganzen spooky Vibe, ohne dass man danach Angst hat, nachts aufs Klo zu gehen. Die Atmosphäre ist super, der Humor passt, und das ganze Spiel fühlt sich an wie eine liebevolle Halloween-Deko, die plötzlich beschlossen hat, ein Jump’n’Run zu werden. Kleine Warnung: Wer Motion Sickness hat, sollte vorsichtig sein. Die Kamera kann einen sonst schneller aus dem Leben drehen als ein schlecht gelaunter Geisterzug. Für alle anderen: absolute Empfehlung, besonders zur Halloween-Zeit!
First of all I will always recommend this game. Its like a love letter to the platform games. I actual have bought it and beaten it on PS5. I've also bought it for my sons Xbox before repurchasing it for myself on PC. that story is simple , the colors bright & all the characters including the sword have fun quirky personalities. Controls work well and I've only experienced one or two bugs playing it between my first and 2nd time. the game is not long but if you're a completetionist it has replay value finding all the crow skulls, unlocking all the skins & finding all the music. If you love this game as much as i do i recommend their other game Akimbot which I also beat on PS5 and now own on PC ( I'll leave a special review when I play it again). I believe both run very well on handheld devices like the steam deck. Also I did not have a PC at the time Far Far west Playtest came out. I bought it after I got a steam deck in so i couldn't earn the Pumpkin jack skin for Halloween. really hope the devs bring it back for us to try and earn this Halloween as well as add Akimbot as a skin. other then that keep up the Amazing work

Amazing game worth buying very fun
Seems like a fun game to play but I have a couple of core issues with it. - movement is like playing a game called 'floaty man' - the mini-game / sub-game tasks you have to do I can tell are going to get tedious and frustrating and I can tell I'm not going to enjoy that
This is a great game to play if you're interested in a fast-paced platformer with multiple racing segments and mean spirited humor. Speaking of spirits? Also a great game to play during Halloween if you're not interested in horror games as it is DRIPPING with Halloween spirit.
This game is all about the vibes. Graphics, sound, environments, etc.--all super cool and moody. No need to wait for Halloween, just throw this on. The gameplay is perfectly fine, but nothing you haven't seen before, and nothing too deep. You can come back to an old save if you get bored and be juuuuust fine. This is one that you know you'll like it just by watching the trailer. They also somehow got Beavis's voice actor for Jack but only when he jumps. Really impressive.
