Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.43/day in the week to Jul 30 → 4.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I love Lungfish and circuses, I don't want a lobotomy and neither do the kids.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Now before you start getting angry because of that big red thumbs down, this is purely a warning for steam deck users like me. If you're planning on just taking this on the go, it isn't gonna work. The camera will spin non-stop if you even remotely try to play. And you have to guess what buttons to press because it only shows pc keys. You guys seriously put 0 effort into this port. Do better.
I completed this on Gamepass even though I owned it on Steam, and I don’t know what everyone sees in this game. The quirky humour is okay, and I respect the unique concept and interesting way it explores psychology, but pushing through to actually finish it was a constant chore. It has a decent but slow start, with a sharp decline into annoyance from the middle onwards. Navigating the hub world and most of the levels gets tedious quickly and gives little guidance, feeling more like aimless wandering most of the time. Then searching constantly for collectibles to rank up, as well as for how the heck to progress most levels, was a non-stop grind with no logic to follow. The platforming feels sluggish rather than challenging, and difficulty spikes will have you forced to constantly replay the most annoying segments. The best thing I can say is that I'm thankful it's from an era where cheats were still common, because of the amount of time they saved me to actually finish it.
Hands down one of the best platformer/adventure games I had the blessing to play. pros: - so funny - fantastic writing - fun characters - great combat system cons: - its an old game so the controls are a bit finicky 9.3/10
_____________8__88_____8 ____________88_8__8_____8 ___________888_____88___88888 __________8888______88_8____88 _________8888_______88______8_8 _________8888_______88______8_8 _________8888_______8_______8 _________8888_____8_______8 __________88888____8______8 ___________8888888______8 __888_________88888_8 8888888________88_____ _8888888_______8_____ __888888_______88_____ ___88_____8_____8_____ ____8______8____8_____8_88 _______8888_8__88_8_88888 _____888888_8_88__8888888 ____8888888__88______88888 ____88888_____8_________888 ____88_________8__________8 _____8_________8_____ _______________8_____ ____________8_8_____ _____________88_8_____ ______________88_____ ______________8_____
"I am the milk man, my milk is delicious." 500/10
Oh boy, oh boy - Psychonauts is about as much of a mixed bag as it gets. I feel like this is one of those games I could’ve had massive nostalgia for if I had played it back in my early years. The game absolutely overflows with creative ideas, it’s charming, and it’s smartly humorous
(the Milkman level definitely deserves a shoutout here)
. And don’t even get me started on the German voice-over - it’s pure gold. Buuuut that brings me straight to the downsides: the great voice acting is often overshadowed by really poor audio mixing. Some characters, like Mikhail, are almost impossible to understand at times. Background noises are sometimes louder than the voices, and certain voice lines repeat so often that they eventually become downright annoying. Another big problem - maybe the biggest one I have with this game - is how often it left me confused and unsure about how to progress. I don’t know, maybe I’m just a little dumb, but I had to look up solutions for bosses, puzzles, and platforming sections so frequently that it hurt my enjoyment quite a lot. It got so bad that I kind of had to force myself to finish the game,
which didn’t help considering the last level is pretty infamous for its difficulty spike
. A friend of mine
(hi Phil)
thinks Psychonauts is an overrated game, but I strongly disagree. I’d rather describe the game as an unpolished diamond that’s missing a good amount of refinement. So even though I have my complaints about Psychonauts, I’d still recommend this classic - its charm is just too hard to ignore.
