If you are looking for a fan creation focused Project Diva game this is it. The the next evaluation of edit mode and you can even add songs from project diva megamix + and modded songs to the game, Wich is insane. Can't wait to see what's next
Full honesty here, I wasn't expecting much, being an early access title and all, but HOLY S**T THIS IS AWESOME. The controls FEEL tighter than PDMM+, and the extra statistics allow you to actually understand what you're doing "wrong" in each song. Little quality of life features, such as a guide for multuple buttons, allow you to actually have fun while learning charts and getting better. The workshop integration is pretty great, and the menus, while not as polished as PD, are very good at providing the relevant information on every song. I have hundreds of hours on PD accross several versions, including PC on PDMM+, and this game is a worthy successor to the crown, considering that Project Diva is likely abandoned in favor of Project Sekai. Not usual for me to review a game, but I can only expect good things as Project Heartbeat evolves and eventually moves out of early access.
cool game
I love rhythm games. I love community-made maps in rhythm games even more.
Pretty Solid. This game is pretty good for a broke man like myself who has project diva withdrawals.
Finally this exists, been hoping for a open rythm game that uses the miku games mechanic. If you like the Project diva games etc then you will love this,
I wish there was a rating between recommending this game as I think what this game is trying to do is good, as it let's you chart, publish and play songs very easily as well as being playable on pretty much any system regardless of specs and with ton of customizability. However (IN MY OPINION) I think it just lacks a bit of polish, some better feedback on the note hits would be nice, but still I recommended this game if you like rhythm games like Diva.
This is basically just the spiritual succesor to project diva which itself was a really good game but sadly sega and crypton abandoned it to focus on PJSK. Nevertheless, this game has plenty to offer like workshop support, exclusive tracks, an online leaderboard, and even BACKWARDS COMPATIPILITY with project diva and mods! I'm looking forward to seeing where this game goes and if any new exclusive songs get made for it.
