Set in 207X, a mysterious disease called "LNNS" has been ravaging the world. A lone Chiral researcher, Anna Schroeder, attempts to find the cure with her trusty supercomputer companion HAL. Stumbling upon various “Projects,” the duo decides to investigate the efficacy of a cure using a pulse/rhythm-based interface. Work in progress.

honestly imo this is better than jsab
IF U LIKE JUST SHAPES AND BEATS, UNDERTALE, DELTARUNE, OR ANY OTHER BULLET HELL, THIS GOOOODODDDDDD
I am giving this a tentative positive review. Its fun, but I do wish the obstacles had to be evaded to the beat more, it would make this game from fine enough to a really good game. As it currently stands, you could turn off the volume and do fairly well, which is a bummer. The secret level at the end even had parts of it where you had to avoid to the beat a bit and I really enjoyed that. If the full game comes out, and has more of that, I think its an easy slam dunk and a good buy, otherwise it will be kind of hard to justify playing this over other games. All that being said, its a pretty fun bullet hell, with creative level designs, good music, what seems to be a fairly robust level creator from the custom levels I tried, and a heck of a lot of potential. I look forward to new updates.
Very similar to JSAB but the quality is a lot higher. Has lots of potential once the full release is out
game is cool and fun :D. but new name suck like suck suck suck suck suck suck suck suck suck.
just shapes and beats on crack
i played when it was called project arythmia
good
I AM VERY NORMAL ABOUT AFTERBEAT. As a lover of music, platformers and bullet hell games; Afterbeat takes all the cake and decides to dump a whole bunch of glitter on it. The music choices are fire, the story thus far is incredibly engaging and interesting, and the level editor is quite intuitive and detailed! The cherry on top is Vitamin Games' management of the game and how they want everything to be good for the playerbase. The community is talented and some of the loveliest people I have had the fortune of sharing a space with; and those who make fanmade levels just keep getting WILDER with the editor! I love both Afterbeat and Just Shapes and Beats with my whole being, but Afterbeat is so much more than just shapes and music. It really deserves its ratings.
afterbeat meaning there is no music
