Pro Strategy Football 2023

I like a lot about this game, for instance, the play calling is excellent, you can go as simple as "short pass" "inside run" or you can get as detailed as you want with the formation, coverage, blitz, give individual players specific instructions. You can sub out individual players if they're tired. It even gives you tips on coverage and explains how they work. All available within the play calling screen. Time management works great. Realistic penalties and injuries. The gameplay really is fun (I played only coach mode). Unfortunately, the career mode, while clicking a lot of boxes for me isn't quite there yet. You can't sign or trade players when you start, only in the offseason. No financials, you get a certain number of free agents leaving a year and you replace them with a draft among all the other free agents. Not realistic enough for me so I refunded it. If they can implement a full financial system with trading, contracts etc in future versions, I'll buy it every year as it could finally be the worthy successor to front office football I've been waiting for. I may buy it again if it goes on sale bc the game play really is excellent, I just need my detailed franchise mode.

I am absolutely loving this game. I have owned it for a couple months now and find time to play it almost daily. When I am not playing it I am thinking about what I want to do next in my football universe! :) It has been a long time since I found a football game that was both customizable and this much fun! Mod community have added so much with both real and fictional leagues from the past. I also cannot say enough about the game designer...so friendly and responsive and always addresses any issues right away and is always looking for additional ways to improve the game each year based on actuallly listening to his customers!!! I can't recommend this game enough...if you are a football fan...past or present and aren't expecting Madden, this game is for you!!!

Best football sim out there. If the managment part is a bit reworked would be easily the best all-round game of this genre.

I just got the game. It took me a little bit to get going, with help from the forum!! This game is awesome!!! I love the strategy and the detail of the players and teams to determine a great game. I will use Career Play which is where you are the GM and make the decisions. The big bonus was the the graphics, not something I thought I would need, but my first game was the 49ers in a rain storm!!!! It was fun to see the game played with that little extra fun! Keep up the good work, keep posting the You-Tube videos!

this game is stupid

I wasn't a coaching kinda guy but watching plays unfold and the highlight mode is so much fun! as is this game is a rare gem !

There's a lot good with this game.. but so much wrong. It just doesn't feel fully fleshed out quite yet. I wouldn't reccomend it until next year. perhaps itll have trading. what's next after that should be fully fleshed out free agency. after that, custom draft classes( for the retro era mods, I want to be able to draft the IRL players from the next year's draft.) after that, expansions. If I'm in 1980, I should be able to get Jacksonville in the team, then alter it. I hope I don't have enough information, but at this point, I'm quite ashamed. so much works, but it's just not there yet.

Well...Madden is ridiculously bad so I have been looking for a good NFL fix. Alas...the only game I have found that is more scripted with more massively cheating AI than this game is Football Mogul 23. It looks like I will never find an NFL game where my decisions actually matter. Crap, crap crap. If you like wasting time with massive amounts of frustration then buy this. If you are looking for some semblance of realism with a chance of enjoyment then STEER WELL CLEAR! Buyers remorse reigns supreme!

Very fun game love seeing all the old school uniforms for me it's hours of fun all the historical seasons are free created by the wonderful PSF mod community
