Game Modes

• Career / Franchise - Act as a team owner and/or League Commissioner, enjoy full multi-season franchise play with players retiring, rookie drafts, free agents, trading players and draft picks, and offseason realignment, where you can add teams, modify rules, and have teams change their artwork, stadiums, and more!

• Historic Careers - Replay football history year-by-year with historic rosters each season!

• Single Season - Enjoy a full season with any league, any team, and avoid all the franchise stuff.  Play a historic schedule or create a tournament!

• Exhibition Quick Games - Pick any two teams, even from different leagues, mix rules how you want, and even build custom situations!  It's 2nd and 25 on your own 25, in a snowstorm with 1:07 left in regulation, you have one timeout left and you're down by 4, can offense pull it out or can defense stand up for one more drive?  Set the weather, down, distance, everything related to a full situation and then play it or watch it!

• Playoff Picture & "What-If" Analysis - Playoff pictures and predictions add tension to every late game!  Instant playoff clinch/elimination tracking on schedule screens, plus dynamic scenario analysis ("Clinches division with a win") and retro-active tracking for past seasons.  Relive when your favorite team clinched a wildcard spot and then when they clinched their division!

• Annual Season Awards - The engine assigns season awards every season, all Player of the Year categories and positional awards, but you have the final say!  Your vote overrides, and you can even adjust past seasons!

• In-Game Audio Commentary - Full voice commentary announcing every down, supported by a reorganized audio structure for easier combinations of sound mods.

• Expanded Stat Tracking - Official Quarterback Fourth Quarter Comebacks (4QC) and Game-Winning Drives (GWD) integrated into logs, record books, and player histories.

• Enhanced Game Summaries - Improved game summaries now appear directly on the Weekly screen.  Easily check out which games were won in the closing seconds, which games were a slug fest, and more!

• Mid-Season Editing - Edit players and team data directly inside an active career season.

• Upgraded Ticker & Highlights - Ticker displays season records and playoff indicators; highlights filter includes dedicated Sack options.  The Highlights screen now saves your preferred viewing mode (highlights, all drives, or even Full PBP)!

• Customizable Sim Timers - Toggle or adjust live sim and highlight timers from 1 to 12 seconds.
