This game is amazing. Every thing matters in this game! Stats are saved forever, has massive depth in stats. Nice retro gameplay of football. Great AI and good franchise! great game
A game that I can just as easily run sims in the background as I can just commentate each weekly game. The guy behind the game is top notch and listens to comments and responds. Just a great product made by a guy who knows his fans and is working with them.
I'm a fan of Micro League Football and Playmaker Football from way way back (1990's) and had high hopes for this title. Unfortunately it doesn't quite find the blend between Coach mode and entertaining. It had a bit too much repetitive clicking. On top of that there was the fact it "Borrowed" the Theme music from BloodBowl and played it pretty loudly. While I do like the music from BloodBowl, I was a bit off-put my this as, knowing Games Workshop from personal experience, its unlikely that they licensed the use of the music! Plus even in BB it was annoyingly repetitive and to recycle it here just dredge old memories of trying to turn it off. Bottom Line: This isn't quite up to snuff for the current price tag. I would rate this as a $4.99 game. not a $19.99 game. Maybe with more tweaks and development time I'd feel differently. On the PLUS side: its a better Football sim than OOTP XXI was a Baseball sim.
The game is not good. No matter how good your team is, they will always have the other team come from behind in the last few mins of any game you watch.
This game is a joke. It is playable for people who know next to nothing about pro football. If you are a newbie to pro football then have at it. Otherwise, if you have played games like Madden, this game will be a huge disappointment. The game is too simple. It just doesn't accurately reflect the complexity of the pro game on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball.
A great strategy game, takes me back to the 80's Micro League days!! A++++
extremely fun ecspecially with mods
I don't use to write reviews but I think this game deserve it. To me, it worth the cost. It's a very funny game if you like managements game. You'll have fun a lot, even if you play it in casual mode. In case you're not an expert in football (as me, I like it but as I'm Spanish, I didn't started watching it till ten years ago or so) you'll enjoy the casual mode. If you want more deep game, the expert mode is perfect. You can choose almost every aspect of the matchplay. The graphics are beautiful to me. And last but not least, you cannot trade players or control financial aspect, but after reading on the forums, it seems the devs have the intention of improving the game and introduce some new interesting facts.
A lot of fun.
This is one great game.
