Excellent immersive and statistically realistic in game NFL coaching simulator. Unlike Madden there is no rubber band AI here. Plus the benefit of an active Dev who makes qualitative improvements with each years edition. No gimmicks. Excellent mod community (find any team from any era). Highly recommend
Enjoyed this very much. The thing I enjoy most it is a fair game vs. the computer. Now I can match wits with the greatest teams in the greatest situations. I have played another very well known football PC game but it is not fun vs. computer as it just seems to make you fumble or get an interception just at the right time. As for Pro Strategy Football, I am all on board!
Not the most realistic football simulation but it is fun. Career mode is somewhat challenging and there's enough customization to keep the game interesting. It's glitchy. Fortunately the glitches don't effect gameplay. I'd like a more detailed play editor. However, the play system does allow for some flexibility.
I like the realism of the game. Different players have different attribute levels.
I've played 'em all (Action PC, Second and Ten, Inside Blitz, SOM PC etc) and this is as accurate as they come, with every season included. Only improvements I would hope for is a deeper stat package and better player finder distribution (all passes shouldn't come from one QB, for example). I will be a first day buyer of PSF22,
This game has so much to offer! It's very customizable, and while at first glance the graphics seem simplistic, the game engine is realistic and yields excellent results. This has become one of my very favorite games. Keep developing it!
Great fun. Great support. Exactly what I was looking for.
I was hoping that this would meet my desire for a good football game, but it is an absolute waste of time. I can't believe that the people who made this ever even played American football. The offense and defense is stupidly oversimplified. For example, you can only choose from short, medium, and long range passing routes. Any real passing play will have a combination different passing distances to spread out the defense. I could go on, but trust me it is not worth your time or money.
I grew up with the old TLSF games of the early 1990s, and this is a dramatic improvement of the game. I highly recommend the series, as it keeps getting better each year with new features, and for a great price to boot!
