The station actually rotates around the moon! 10/10
If you like games like Half Life, System Shock, Bioshock, Prey (2006), and Dishonered, then you will absolutely love this masterpiece.
Hidden gem if you like Bioshock and horror.
One of the best games I've ever played. P.S. Pls dont spoil the ending for yourself.
Good but not as good as Dishonored series, especially fun wise Dishonored 2 is levels above but it's different type of game so it's understandable. Also i wouldn't call it a typical horror game, it's not rly that scary. You can see it's Arkane's game, just by level of details, how good interiors looks, freedom etc I'ts not an ez game, u have to use your brain, exploration is pretty rewarding and satisfying but at the end a little exhausting cuz of loading screens and repetitive hacking. Depending on which upgrades you're going for, the way you move on the map will change for you, i recommend to play in survival mode, better for immersion. Some In-game gadgets are cool, my favourite was "Re****er".
Awesome, awesome immersive sim, that for some reason went under the radar. One of the games that everyone should play at least once. Underrated gem. I will forever mourn Arcane's downfall. 15/10.
My goodness, this game. WOW. It is right up there with the original Systemshock 2 in creating a tight game world and letting you loose on it to find all its secrets. Combined with a delightful power curve and intriguing story, this was just an absolute blast. And whoever designed the intro / tutorial sequence, you actually had my jaw drop for a moment. Especially if some of the pieces fall into place later and make you go "Ooooooh!". Masterclass.
Играл впервые и сразу на выживание и кошмаре.Один из лучших имерсив симов и лучший проэкт который аркейны сделали
I love immersive sims, and I'm sure Prey is a good game. However, after a strong start, my enthusiasm quickly faded. There's a lot of looting for crafting materials, a mechanic I despise. The combat against the Typhon, after the first few encounters, already shows its limitations. There's barely any stealth. The environment feels sterile and devoid of life. The best immsim, Deus Ex, has tons of moments where you interact with civilians, whole levels built around nothing but exploration and social encounters, and a huge variety of environments. There's none of that here. You have no one to interact with, the story is slowly drip-fed to you through radio and documents, and you're just running around a single hostile place. I can't help feeling that Bioshock did it better, many years ago.
