In Prey, you awaken aboard Talos I, a space station orbiting the moon in the year 2032. You are the key subject of an experiment meant to alter humanity forever – but things have gone terribly wrong. The space station has been overrun by hostile aliens and you are now being hunted.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.71/day in the week to Jul 30 → 4.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I think I'm enjoying this I'm really not sure. Game is just unnecessarily confusing at times
Amazing game, shame we will likely never get a sequel with the shutting of Arkane Austin. Although I am sure the main Arkane studio could pick it up and do a fantastic job. Love the blend of gameplay styles that you can achieve, the story is interesting and gripping, love the multiple endings and twists. Great game overall.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 15: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

It's surprisingly good given that it was released almost 10 years ago, it could have easily been release in 2026 and wipe the floor with most of the current games. It very polished unlike the buggy mess of Deathloop, and offers a less linear approach to level design compared to Dishonored. There's some nice RPG elements akin to something like Fallout but set in space, sprinkled with some survival horror and with the gameplay of Dishonored, there's really nothing else quite like it.
Arkane Austin developed “Prey” and ‘Redfall’ and contributed to the development of “Young Blood.” All of these games shared similar characteristics. What that means is up to each person to decide for themselves. To me, it's clear. Thank you for closing this studio and cleaning up the Arkane Studios brand, but it's a shame that the “Prey” brand has been tarnished like this.
phenomenal game, strongly recommended, unique and peculiar, one of the best starts of all games
Slept on gem! And fun achievment hunting!
This game is really really sick. Think Bioshock mixed with FPS where you get really cool Half Life 2 gadgets. One of them is a gun where you can shoot foam and layer that foam to stand on. You can take a lot of materials in the game and turn them into something different through this little um machine thing that looks a like printer. Super cool concepts and really one of the best games I haven't been back to but need to revisit. This is one of those games that will live on forever. It's that good, it's not a play and throw-away. The DLC is great too!
It is one of the best games ever made, and there would be more like it if the average consumer wasn't domesticated cattle
