Very satisfying and atmospheric puzzle with great music. Short but high quality.
Preserve is a relaxing yet surprisingly strategic puzzle game developed by Bitmap Galaxy and published by Grindstone. Rather than placing players in charge of a bustling city or a complex economic system, the game focuses on something far more peaceful: creating thriving natural habitats. Its central objective revolves around building balanced ecosystems by carefully positioning plants, animals, and terrain pieces across a growing landscape. The result is a refreshing experience that blends thoughtful planning with a calm, meditative atmosphere. At its core, Preserve turns environmental design into a rewarding puzzle. Every card and tile serves a purpose, and success depends on understanding how different elements of nature interact with one another. Certain animals flourish near specific vegetation, while particular terrain combinations can create opportunities for higher scores and more diverse habitats. The game gradually teaches these relationships through play, making progression feel natural and satisfying. What begins as a simple placement exercise evolves into a deeper challenge where efficient planning and long-term thinking become essential. One of the game's most appealing qualities is its presentation. The landscapes are colorful, vibrant, and full of charm, transforming each completed ecosystem into something that resembles a miniature living diorama. Watching forests spread, animals settle into their ideal environments, and entire habitats come together provides a constant sense of accomplishment. The visual design avoids unnecessary clutter, allowing players to appreciate the beauty of the environments they create. Combined with a soothing soundtrack and gentle pacing, Preserve delivers an atmosphere that encourages relaxation without sacrificing engagement. The game also succeeds by giving players room for creativity. While there are scoring systems and optimization goals to pursue, there is no single correct way to build a thriving ecosystem. Players can experiment with different arrangements, design aesthetically pleasing landscapes, or focus on maximizing biodiversity. This flexibility helps the experience remain enjoyable over long sessions, as each new map presents opportunities to approach challenges from a different perspective. The satisfaction of creating a balanced and visually appealing environment becomes just as rewarding as achieving a high score. Another strength lies in the variety of biomes and environmental elements available throughout the game. As players progress, they unlock new terrain types, species, and mechanics that expand the possibilities for ecosystem design. These additions keep the gameplay from becoming stagnant and encourage continual experimentation. Discovering how newly introduced components interact with existing systems creates a steady sense of progression and keeps players invested in refining their strategies. Preserve's commitment to a tranquil experience may not appeal to everyone. Players seeking fast-paced action, dramatic storytelling, or highly detailed management systems may find the gameplay loop too gentle. Much of the challenge revolves around careful placement and ecological planning, which can feel repetitive for those who prefer constant variety. However, this deliberate pacing is also one of the game's defining strengths. It allows players to enjoy the process of creation without feeling pressured by time limits or overwhelming complexity. What ultimately makes Preserve memorable is its ability to transform nature itself into the foundation of an engaging puzzle game. Its mechanics encourage players to think about harmony, balance, and the relationships between living things, all while providing a relaxing environment in which to experiment and create. The combination of strategic depth, visual beauty, and calming presentation gives the game a distinctive identity that stands apart from many other titles in the genre. For players who enjoy thoughtful puzzle design, creative freedom, and peaceful gameplay, Preserve offers a rewarding and refreshing experience. It successfully combines environmental themes with satisfying strategic mechanics, resulting in a game that is both intellectually engaging and emotionally relaxing. While its slower pace may not suit every audience, those willing to embrace its tranquil approach will discover a charming and carefully crafted journey through the art of building thriving ecosystems. For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

świetna gra : D Wciągająca i rozluźniająca <3
heavy on resource management which i love
great if you liked dorfromantik and games like that honestly not entirely sure how to even get the gold medal on most of these levels...
Hex tile based sim. Nice premise. A little overly simple. But nice graphics, relaxing sounds, easy to do at a lower level hard to get high scores. Good game! 4/5

I really love this game! It's very easy to pick up, but there is a fair amount of strategy to get higher scores. It's very satisfying when it all comes together, and I feel like I am naturally learning things while playing. The puzzle maps help to learn the basics, but you can also skip them and just play the normal mode if you want. There is also surprisingly nice camera mode. I have had fun taking photos of my finished maps. Game is really aesthetically pleasing and the music have been appropriately soothing was such cozy game.
