Pan'orama

Don't let the Hex tiles fool you - this is *not* a Dorfromantik clone. There's much deeper strategic gameplay going on here, with long-term choices being made about what can be placed where for maximum points. Great as a puzzle game, less so as a calming cozy city builder.

Use of AI not disclosed even though it's blatantly obvious in the main menu screen "art". Unfortunately only noticed this after having this game for years. I used to enjoy this game but you can find mindless fun anywhere, this isn't anything special. And it's definitely not worth giving your money to people who can't even be bothered to put effort into making a game or paying real artists.

it's a really nice game. the gameplay loop is nice and relaxing and the music basically puts you to sleep with how relaxing it is. for anyone that wants to unwind from a stressfull day, this game is perfect.

Pan'orama is one of my favorites of the genre. It remains rather classical to the whole hexagon grid map building, but instead of ramping up in difficulty as you gather more points, things get less punishing as you progress and unlock/place more buildings. I also like that instead of a set point goal to consider a session won, it's measured by discovering and placing all available buildings on the map - this gives you a bit more control of how long you want a session to last (I've built enormous maps, taking my time, but also finished things very goal-oriented way by planning ahead which buildings to use). If you do crave a challenge though, there is a challenge mode! Good balance of fun, relaxing and challenging. (Also cats! Must click on all the cats!)

A tile-based landscape puzzle that looks a lot like a Dorfromantik clone but really isn't! It has its own mechanics, style, unlockable building structures & cute animals to pet for extra points. Not worth playing because you cannot continue building your city after you win. Let alone after you lose.

picked it up on sale for $4. its a great game. started playing and enjoyed the chill nature of it. spent around an hour playing it only to finish the "campaign" and find out nope its been 2.5 hrs. Def recommend picking up. Havent tried challenges yet but the base game is a chill enjoyable game and now im left debating if I try challenges or go back and beat my score. As someone who found dorfromantik when it was still early its its creation, this game reminds me of it alot. Ignore people who say just buy one or the other, just get both. Ignore people who complain about not being able to keep building their city. If they wanted to play endless they could do that instead they played the campaign and completed it. Buy the game. Esp if its on sale.

This is one of those games which is both quite simple and incredibly complex. It's a relaxing moderately cerebral game which can feel a bit confusing at first in its simplicity until you get a feel for the patterns and gameplay. Overall, I have quite enjoyed this game and feel I have gotten my money's worth.

Pan’orama is a game for people looking for a chill experience, not a challenge. I played one game and “won” it without breaking a sweat. Still, I can’t deny that it was a fun and relaxing experience for about 85% of the time. I still prefer the other game this keeps getting compared to, but Pan’orama is definitely worth your time if you’re looking for something cozy and easygoing.
