Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 19 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The concept of this game seemed cool and I had high hopes for it but my friend and I played it for a bit and it's just bad. You have a tutorial that doesn't really teach you anything and the gameplay is very bland. You're stuck trying to find items off of vague story descriptions of the ghost. One game we couldn't even figure out what items it needed. Then comes the problem where you do find the right items and you have to exorcize the ghost but it doesn't tell you what you need to do. Again it's just a vague task to do. We had the mannequin two times and could not figure out for the life of us how to exorcize it. There was nothing fun about this and we just kept dying. There could have been good potential for this game but it just isn't there. If you find this game looks interesting I would say find a different game to play. I'm very disappointed that there really wasn't much to this game. It's really a shame. Learning the story of the ghost and having different hunters was a good idea in theory but it did not work here.

Remnant Records delivers a solid horror experience in the paranormal investigation genre, even if it doesn't quite reach the heights of Phasmophobia. For maximum scares, playing alone is the way to go. The game's oppressive atmosphere truly comes alive when you're isolated inside those eerie, haunted locations, heightening every tension-filled moment. In co-op, the vibe shifts toward something more relaxed and lighthearted, partly because threats become far more predictable with multiple people sharing the load. The biggest drawback overall is how quickly the core experience starts to feel repetitive and runs its course.
Voto 7/10
- The concept is a bit bland because if using a horror standard it kinda a bit low. - the clue and the diary of exorcist before player kinda too direct not exactly a puzzle type rather then searching a typical ghost item with a guides. - Rather then make a puzzle type, better make an exorcist type games. - The mechanic of the roles kinda nice but need to balance and exactly what the roles need rather then unclear instruction.

This is Hands down one of the worst Games I have ever had the misfurtune of Playing!
Remnant Records is an atmospheric cooperative horror investigation game that combines paranormal exploration, survival mechanics, procedural storytelling, and ghost-hunting gameplay into a tense and surprisingly immersive supernatural experience. Developed and published by Noctiluca Studio, the game places players in the role of paranormal investigators tasked with entering haunted locations, uncovering the identities and tragic histories of restless spirits, and ultimately performing dangerous exorcisms to help them move on. While comparisons to other ghost-hunting horror games are inevitable, Remnant Records manages to stand apart through its stronger emphasis on storytelling, emotional atmosphere, and the personal histories tied to each haunting. The central gameplay loop revolves around investigating abandoned locations either alone or cooperatively with up to four players. Every mission begins with players exploring dark and unsettling environments in search of supernatural evidence while trying to survive increasingly hostile paranormal activity. Rather than focusing entirely on identifying ghost types through simple checklists, the game encourages players to uncover details about the spirit’s former life, death, and unfinished business. This approach gives investigations far more emotional weight because the ghosts feel like tragic individuals rather than random horror monsters. One of the game’s strongest aspects is its atmosphere. Remnant Records excels at creating tension through environmental storytelling, unpredictable ghost behavior, oppressive sound design, and carefully paced supernatural events. Haunted houses, abandoned buildings, dark hallways, and decaying interiors all feel genuinely unsettling thanks to the game’s heavy use of shadows, flickering lights, environmental noises, and eerie silence. Instead of relying constantly on cheap jump scares, the game builds fear through anticipation and uncertainty, making even quiet moments feel stressful. The ghost behavior system adds considerable unpredictability to investigations. Different spirits react uniquely to player actions and environmental conditions, forcing players to adapt their approach depending on the type of haunting they encounter. Some entities aggressively hunt investigators, while others rely on manipulation, psychological pressure, or subtle environmental disturbances to create fear. This variation helps prevent investigations from feeling repetitive because players can never fully predict how each haunting will escalate once paranormal activity intensifies. The exorcism mechanics are another major highlight. Successfully removing a spirit requires more than simply collecting evidence. Players must complete dangerous rituals and survival sequences directly tied to the ghost’s personality and history. These moments often become frantic and chaotic as paranormal activity reaches its peak and players scramble to complete objectives while avoiding lethal supernatural attacks. The exorcism phase gives each investigation a strong climax and helps separate the game from other paranormal investigation titles where missions simply end after identifying the correct ghost type. Procedural storytelling is one of the game’s most impressive features. Ghost stories are generated dynamically using combinations of deaths, personal histories, clues, and environmental details scattered throughout each location. Diaries, newspapers, personal belongings, and hidden notes slowly reveal fragments of the ghost’s past as players investigate deeper into the haunting. This system adds substantial replay value because investigations rarely unfold in exactly the same way, and uncovering each spirit’s story becomes just as important as surviving the supernatural threats themselves. The cooperative gameplay also works extremely well. Team communication becomes essential during investigations because players must coordinate evidence gathering, survive dangerous hauntings, and complete exorcism rituals together. Different player roles provide specialized strengths that encourage teamwork and strategic coordination during more dangerous encounters. Some investigators focus on protection and survival, while others are more effective at interacting directly with paranormal activity or supporting teammates during chaotic moments. Visually, Remnant Records succeeds through atmosphere and environmental detail rather than technical spectacle. Lighting plays a huge role in the horror experience, with darkness, flashlight beams, supernatural distortions, and flickering environmental effects constantly creating unease. The ghost designs themselves are varied and unsettling enough to make encounters memorable without becoming overly exaggerated or cartoonish. The sound design deserves particular praise because it does much of the heavy lifting in maintaining tension throughout investigations. Distant footsteps, whispered voices, sudden environmental noises, creaking floorboards, and distorted paranormal sounds constantly keep players on edge. The game understands how important silence and uncertainty are within horror design, often allowing long stretches of quiet exploration before suddenly erupting into terrifying supernatural chaos. Another positive aspect is the accessibility of the investigation systems. Compared to some more mechanically complicated paranormal horror games, Remnant Records remains relatively approachable for newer players. Evidence collection, ghost tracking, and objective progression are generally intuitive enough that players can begin enjoying investigations quickly without spending hours memorizing complicated mechanics. However, the game is not without flaws. One of the biggest issues is long-term repetition. Although procedural storytelling and ghost variety help maintain replayability, players who spend many hours with the game may eventually notice repeated investigation patterns and familiar objective structures. Certain ghost behaviors and exorcism mechanics can also become more predictable once players fully understand the game’s systems. Balancing and clarity occasionally create frustration as well. Some ghost encounters and exorcism objectives are not always explained clearly enough, leading to moments where players may feel confused about what actions are required to progress or survive. Certain ghosts also become significantly easier to identify after repeated play sessions, reducing some of the mystery over time. The slower pacing may also divide players. Investigations often involve extended periods of exploration, observation, and evidence gathering before major supernatural events occur. While this slower buildup strengthens the atmosphere considerably, players expecting nonstop horror action may find portions of the gameplay too methodical. Technical roughness occasionally appears during cooperative sessions as well. Like many indie multiplayer horror games, there can be moments where animations, interactions, or ghost behavior feel slightly inconsistent. While these issues rarely ruin the experience entirely, they can sometimes interrupt immersion during otherwise tense investigations. For fans of cooperative horror, ghost-hunting investigations, and atmospheric supernatural mysteries filled with tension and exploration, Remnant Records delivers a memorable and highly engaging experience. Its focus on uncovering the tragic histories behind each haunting gives the game emotional depth alongside its horror elements, making it one of the more distinctive indie paranormal investigation games currently available.
