Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 3/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Possessor(s) is an overall very good game with a few rough edges that prevent it from being truly excellent. It has a unique rhythm and pacing, doesn't overstay its welcome, and once you get the hang of enemy timing, combat feels meaty and satisfying. Some of the writing is a bit awkward at times, but overall the characters and their dynamics are compelling (and often pretty funny) - the worldbuilding and story is solid and succinct. However, there are some places in the game that feel a little bit half-baked; hidden rooms with nothing in them, detours with platform challenges that lead to the same place as faster/easier routes, and in some cases, redundant ladders. The whip's target selection behavior is a little less consistent than I'd like, particularly with some of the rope-swinging challenges where the timing and directionality feel very inconsistent. There is also a quest will reward you with an affix you very likely already have. Also - Game is very poorly optimized. I posted my specs to illustrate that my PC is not a weakly built thing, and would have been close to top of the line just a few years ago - and this machine struggles to keep the FPS over 60, sometimes dipping into the 50s or worse in certain areas. And this with various tunings to improve over stock performance. However, even with all of that said, this game deserves better than it got from Devolver. A few more months in the oven to polish up some of the rougher edges, and maybe a couple of challenge modes to keep things interesting. Overall I'd say this is a worthier spiritual successor to Hyper Light Drifter than either Solar Ash or HLB, and it's very sad to know that this will probably be Heart Machine's last game. There's so much unrealized potential here and it's a real shame we'll probably never get a followup to this.
é bom mas muito mau otimizado
this game is very optimize I can play it on my android handheld ayaneo konkr pocket fit G3 gen 3 but still need to on frame gen smooth and if you want nice graphic on hdr and amd super resolution, I always does that setting and get like 70fps+
Unfortunately the gameplay is clunky and the controls are super stiff, like O.G. Prince of Persia stiff (yes, DOS Prince of Persia, I've been playing videogames for that long). The art and graphics are super nice and the story and characters are pretty cool. It could HAVE been a really good game if the controls were smoother. I've had to stop playing out of sheer frustration trying to jump off of a platform, or trying to time enemy attacks. The ideas behind all the mechanics are great, but without smooth controls it's just not worth it. It's a shame.
A lovely game with quite the gripping/emotional story. The whole psychological aspect of co-dependance and false friendship/gaslighting is quite interesting and kept me going. the soundtrack was nice (love the main menu theme) and the character design was vibrant and dynamic (nice colorpalette!) My only real gripes with the game are the map, which is quite simple but therefore also kinda useless when it comes to finding stuff you are still missing. The other problem is the optimisation...my steamdeck was aching for the sweet release of death after working with 99% GPU load for the whole gamingsession. Besides that i can wholeheartedly recommend this game
