POP: Methodology Experiment One is an experimental game by Rob Lach which was designed music first, with the gameplay and aesthetic derived from the creative flow of the music production process. What emerged is an emotional psychedelic roller-coaster of interactive vignettes.

Loved the visuals, the main problem is that it is 20 minutes long at best, and the replay value is nonexistent. So, uhh..probably not worth the money, and that's a shame
A handful of minigames, a few OK, most so-so. Hides its mediocrity behind "art".

Some weird and trippy minigames and a pixelated chinese man that appears to be angry Cool
IDK how to do this review justice without being a ♥♥♥♥, but I'm gonna try. Play this game as intended. Once. Experience it, let it make you curious and confused and most likely angry. If you're in gamedev or a gamedev-adjacent field, you might walk away with some new ideas. And then let it go. To play this for any other reason... completionism, scoreboard climbing, etc. is to court all that is rough and uncomfortable about the experience. It is to answer exactly those questions posed by the opening thesis, "why not?" Keep it experimental.
It's a fun retro game with really good retro music.
