Fun idea but boring to me.
Very smart way to make pong enjoyable for a modern audience. Great late night chill game.
I really enjoy a lot the idea to turn the classic Pong-game into a rpg-experience! The negative reviews here about complaining, that the ball becomes incredibly fast later are just unfair (seriously, that's just Pong for you). Each ball got effects for your Pong-hero or the combat itself. For example healing potions, harder attacks, etc. And the character creation inside is just simple and fun. But unfortunately I have to mention some bad parts as well, which are the reason why I can't 100% recommend it and therefore you should better grab it only on sale: 1. The game designer here's not responding anymore to questions or bug reports. 2. The online function doesn't work, which is a big no-go! Playing with your friends matches online, showing around your fun Pong-creations and giving the whole game some replay-value is very important! How could the game-designer refuse to fix this issue and just ignore us customers? 3. Some trophies are almost impossible to achieve (maybe even impossible?), especially because it's not possible to start a new game. At least I'm not aware of it and like I've said, the creator's not responding. There are even 2 possible endings in that game and because of that mentioned issue I was only able to see one. And no, I don't want to completely erase my progress, because it was really hard to unlock all outfit parts and different balls. So my conclusion is yes, I can recommend this game for it's fun and unique idea, but only if you don't have a problem with the mentioned issues here.
Va a 50 imágenes por segundo, así que se ve el rastro de la bola y marea. No digo más.
Greatest comeback of 2020, hands down, no question, and the fact that it's damned to the corner of obscurity is a disgrace.
Cool. No learning curve. Interesting story line. Powerups. I like it. NOTE. iM NOW AT THE SPOOKY DOOR LEVEL 2 THE FIRE ROOM. This is very hard and frustrating. Im at 105 stamina and every battle uses fire and drains my energy so after a few battles is impossible to continue. I play the lower levels so i can go in to this one with a lot of potion balls to restore energy but these balls in this level are impossible to come by and every battle has fire. Getting too hard.
I tired to play it and it is $15 for a simple pong game, yes there is new stuff but it just feels like pong with extra steps. Go play regular pong on google instead
PONG Quest™ is, well, we all know PONG, but the best way to describe this is an officially licensed attempt to squeeze as much blood out of a dry stone as possible, and then released on consoles, and then lazily ported to PC. They slapped a basic dungeon crawler onto PONG, and added a bunch of pointless mechanics like different kinds of balls you can use, but basically the gameplay is still classic paddle vs paddle obsoleteness that saw in the era of populist video games (but in no way deserves a place at the table given how obsolete this is). In fairness, this is possibly the best PONG game ever made, but nobody won a prize for being the tallest midget. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. The game features simplistic 2D "art", of the type you normally expect to see in low effort Flash/browser games and mobile apps. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't going to result in a high quality, visually impressive game that PC gamers are used to seeing. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. Because this is a console game, it carries a number of deliberate design deficiencies. Compromises were made to cater to the inferior console gaming appliances that the game was designed for. These are unfortunate compromises and limitations that PC gamers shouldn't be forced to accept, but it's evident that PC was a second thought for the console-centric developers. The game is deficient as a result of these choices, and would have been so much better without the handicaps that designing games for consoles forces upon a game. Once more, console peasants have made gaming worse for everyone. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. PONG Quest™ has the insane price of $15 USD, for which you could easily get any number of older AAA games, let alone the sheer number of free games available on Steam. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend. You can play PONG ripoffs for free in a web browser if this is the gaming experience you really need to have.
le jeux est simple mais tres plaisant
