Bully tells the story of mischievous 15-year-old Jimmy Hopkins as he goes through the hilarity and awkwardness of adolescence. Beat the jocks at dodge ball, play pranks on the preppies, save the nerds, kiss the girl and navigate the social hierarchy in the worst school around.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.86/day in the week to Sep 8 → 16.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

What the ♥♥♥♥ is wrong with this port? It crashes constantly, the audio is bitcrushed to hell and the first cutscene wouldn't even load. Rockstar is one of the largest game companies on the planet and they're entirely content selling a broken product. Any other platform would pull a game from the store if it was this non functional but somehow on steam it gets away with a Very Positive. It's disappointing to see one of their best games treated like this, and it shows complete disrespect to the customer to sell a product that doesn't work. Play the PS2 version until the executives stop fingering their colon on the job and get their ♥♥♥♥ together.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

played this game on ps2 and literally completed the whole game three times, bought it on pc cause i wanted to replay it and oh god is the pc porting insanely ♥♥♥♥. but thank god silentpatch saved us because this would be unplayable. and the game is so buggy idk for others but for me it is. would be a thumbs up review but gng the game is 20 years old no wonder why it isn't getting updated no more.

People mention silentpatch for a reason. Running the game without it is unplayable sadly. Game will crash for any little thing. After several crashes I tried ailentpatch and had no more crashes until I got to the Balls of Snow mission. Which apparently is pretty common glitch if you set the game to 60 FPS. Though once you switch down to 30, the mission works and can go back to 60 afterwards. Sucks that you have to jump through hoops to get the game to work right but I love this game still. Can't recommend it if you have zero intentions to use silentpatch though. If you are willing to download it then go for it. Still funny game with a variety of things to do.
REQUIRES A THIRD-PARTY PATCH! Don't let that discourage you. Bully isn't a bad game. It's simply a different experience from Grand Theft Auto or Red Dead Redemption. In many ways, it laid the groundwork for mechanics Rockstar would later expand on in future GTA titles. The game also features a surprisingly large variety of fun mini-games tied to school subjects like English, Math, Chemistry, Art, and Gym, which help give it its own identity. Yes, you'll likely need a community patch to run the game properly on modern PCs. Thankfully, it's incredibly easy to install. Just download the patch, extract the contents, and place them in the game's root folder. I understand why some people view this as a negative, but I don't think it's fair to recommend against the game because of it. Plenty of older PC games require community fixes to work reliably on modern hardware. Bully: Scholarship Edition released on Steam in 2008, and expecting Rockstar to continuously update a game that's nearly two decades old for every major Windows and hardware change isn't particularly realistic. If you're willing to spend two minutes installing a patch, you'll get one of Rockstar's most unique and memorable games. Don't let a simple compatibility fix keep you from experiencing it.
this is my first time playing Bully and, god*amn, this game is fun. BUTT, a big one you need mods and fixes to be able to enjoy the game. The best mods to download if you want to just remaster the game are (mods can be found on NexusMods) 1- Reshade 2- Better Sounds 3- Silent Patch (edit frame rate to 60) 4- derpy script loader 5- Balls of Snow mission fix 6- Extended Draw Distance 7- No Blur No Fog 8- Bully Anniversary Edition HUD 9- True Autosave And that's it your game will be great. Overall it would be 10/10 if it was just install and play, no modding required But no you must download mods Overall 7/10
