Prices

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.86/day in the week to Aug 28 → 1.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Inspired by SWAT 4 and gritty police TV shows, Police Stories is a fresh take on top-down shooters with an emphasis on tactics that forces you to make split second decisions. Neutralize criminals, rescue civilians and defuse bombs in Single Player mode or Online Co-op. And remember - shooting first is not an option!
Unforgiving and tense, each mission tells a story of two police operatives - John Rimes and Rick Jones, filled with infiltrating gang hideouts, rescuing hostages, making arrests and other life-threatening situations.
The Surrender System allows you to apprehend the suspects without resorting to violence. Fire a warning shot near them or engage them in melee combat - those are just some of the ways you can make them submit.
Issue commands to your fellow cop Rick Jones. Make sure to use him wisely - and who knows, he might save your life in return.
Randomly placed criminals, hostages and evidence make every level run unique. The placement changes every time you restart, leading to new interesting situations and opportunities.
As a law enforcement officer, you will have access to end-of-the-line police equipment, such as under-the-door cameras, door blast charges and many others.
Various types of lawbreakers, from small petty criminals to well organised gangs and terrorists. Each type has not only unique weapons, but different behaviour and shooting skill.
Complex Tactical Gameplay: Try not to get spotted, don't waste bullets, regularly check your surroundings and make sure to take criminals down quietly.
All your actions are scored in real time. Playing aggressively won't get you a high enough result to start the next mission - so keep that in mind!
Co-op. Complete mission together for better scores and more fun!

Reviews
Love 2d games, but the story is a bit quick, but its also relatively hard while being entertaining at the same time. It also runs very easily, it does not matter if you have a bad pc. Overall 9/10
хорошие мусора
Dont remember the last time I used something that wasn't pepper spray or a taser

It was great to have a S.W.A.T.-like game that doesn't overcomplicate things and still has the joyful gameplay elements of the genre. Still, I think Police Stories has some room for improvement. First off, although the game has it in its title, the story here is not really memorable. Don't expect big plot twists or emotional moments; it is rather a generic police buddy story, which is unfortunate. Gameplay-wise, it was actually nice. Both controls for keyboard and controller are great for holding cover or focusing on a position. The variety of items supports that even further. Having multiple tools where every one of them is actually useful was a lot of fun. Regarding the combat, it was great at the beginning. But later I realized that you can exploit the gameplay by simply running into everyone and punching them. Since the enemies are sometimes too slow to react and immediately surrender after the first hit—and because you don't get punished for punching the hostages—it is too effective. On those harder missions, I used that tactic a lot when I was too tired to replay the sector again. Because of that, the game became a little bit boring and repetitive at the end. I played the game alone as well as in co-op. Even if the single-player experience with your AI friend is okay, I honestly recommend playing Police Stories with someone. Be it because of the joy of good teamwork when you clear a level smoothly or the funny, chaotic moments when you both fail miserably and start trolling each other. Find someone to play this game with you and you are going to have a good experience.
great game for playing with someone, spent this amount of time completign the first story and i loved it, the artwork is great and the amount of gadgets there is to play with adds aa lot of vareiety to the game
