Pocket Oasis

Cute calming gardening game. Started playing while working. Gave me something to do between tasks to clear my head. The drawings are super cute and I believe they are hand painted. May become the next game we play in our office. Looking forward to unlocking the animals as I need my cat in my balcony!

Great cosy game! Beautiful watercolour art! The atmosphere reminds me a lot of Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing, great to play when you want to relax

Gemütlich für nebenbei. Ich frage mich, ob die Jahreszeit im Spiel an die reale Jahreszeit gekoppelt ist, oder welche Wege es gibt in andere Saisons zu gelangen.

The hand painted artwork in Pocket Oasis is beautiful and the game is a really chill place to relax and unwind from the stressful nature of life. The hedgehog is probably my favourite thing about this game. Looking forward to future updates!

Edit: The update to remove pets is a massive improvement, especially when dealing with the bees achievement. There are still bugs in the game, however, as right now in my game, the arrows to switch between plants have disappeared and the button to exit the game or change settings has disappeared. It's a pretty idler game, but VERY buggy. For example, I have something like 12 gnomes on my balcony, the max number, and it doesn't show the achievement. Also, the gameplay is very buggy. You will be trying to click on the fruit, and the area is so small, you end up clicking away from the plant. It's more frustrating than relaxing. I messaged in the forum, but no updates are forthcoming. Also, to get the last plant, you need an infestation of pink lady caterpillars, but I have no idea how to get those. I have had every other plant, nothing. The biggest issue I have with the game is that the greenhouse is worthless. The characters are unable to navigate it properly to water and fertilize the plants, and it doesn't affect the plants need for sunlight or temperature in any way. When winter comes, there are no plants that can survive. You basically have to keep the game open in the background and wait for time to pass. I guess if you are just doing this for a relaxing screensaver, fine, but I thought the greenhouse would at least save some plants. Again, it does nothing. I love idlers and achievement, so I'm trying to get hem all with this one. Overall, the game has its place, but really this needed a beta test before being released, and badly needs updating.

Pocket Oasis is calm, relaxing and beautiful with its unique watercolour style. A perfect game if you want something to de-stress at the end up a long day and just tend to your plants while organising your patio into a beautiful space.

I got this game on sale. And I feel like it was a fair price for what it is right now. This game is a lovely concept, and it is certainly beautiful. But as it is now... it is not worth the price point of $11.99. I would give it another few months, or wait for another sale before purchasing. I will continue to play it and to provide feed back on their discord to help. But it's just not there yet. But I do hope someday it is.
