Ropuka's Idle Island

200-300+ hours to complete, Ropuka’s Idle Island is a true idle game in which there is barely any interaction on your part. You have a little frog companion that lives on an island on your desktop that cuts grass with scissors and occasionally naps. As time passes, you get coins which you use in a lottery to get random furniture pieces and decorations, which you may use to decorate the island, and points from cutting grass which you can use to increase Ropuka’s or the islands status to get more points faster for the lottery or more growth. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3754468768 While I personally found I didn’t much like Ropuka’s Island, I realize that’s on me for expecting more options to interact and do things on the island with Ropuka – BUT, I will however gripe a bit that to get 100%, you need to collect each furniture piece a total of five times, you can win multiples of the same item via the random lottery, which is completely rude and unnecessary. Regardless of that nonsense, the pixel art is cute, the music is chill, there is no pressure to do anything or complex game mechanics that require you to actively participate in the idle game. While I wish I could set it to rain forever objectively it’s a fine, if boring, idle game.
Somthing is off with this games files. It has a player log save file of over 46 Gigs! I was wondering why i had such low space all the sudden so I dug into my locallow files using the windows app TreeSize and found a huge 46 gig file just for this game. For just and idle cutting grass game this is unacceptable! Far as the game review you see exactly what you get. its just a poor frog cutting grass and sleeping and you just unlock some cosmetics to make the island and frog look different. Not much reward for loosing that much space on my drive so this is all going in the trash where it belongs.
I honestly didn't expect a simple idle game to keep me playing for over 400 hours, but Ropuka's Idle Island completely surprised me. The game has a relaxing and cozy atmosphere that makes it perfect for both active play sessions and leaving it running in the background while doing other things. Progress feels rewarding without being overly complicated, and there is always something to work toward, whether it's upgrading your island, optimizing production, or unlocking new content. What I appreciate most is that the game respects your time. You can check in for a few minutes, make some decisions, and still feel like you've made meaningful progress. At the same time, players who enjoy min-maxing and optimization will find plenty of depth to keep them engaged for the long term. The charming art style, peaceful soundtrack, and steady sense of progression make this one of the most enjoyable idle games I've played. The developers have clearly put a lot of care into creating a game that is both relaxing and satisfying. If you're a fan of idle, incremental, or cozy management games, Ropuka's Idle Island is absolutely worth picking up. After 402 hours, I can confidently say I've gotten far more value from this game than I ever expected. Highly recommended.
Really cute on your screen game. I do wish more things happened in the game, but it does exactly what it's promised to do. A little frog cuts grass on his little island while you unlock tools and more decor items. It's fun and takes a really long time to finish the game. Finished? No Steam Achievements? Not hard, but time consuming. Steam Deck? N/A for idle game. Rating? 8/10 (2 points for simplicity) My curator page: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/45865425-CozyAriGames/ Full videos on Youtube
The perfect little scene to put on alongside working. It's not too distracting but just brings me comfort if I am feeling stressed or overwhelmed, I always have my little frog guy to watch for a bit while listening to the sounds of birds (which my cats also enjoy).
lo-fi背景音乐和天气白噪音很好听,非常适合上班挂机,想起来的时候就去抽抽奖,换换装扮
