Ah, the viiiiiibes...Beautiful hand-painted game with such a chill, cozy relaxing vibe! I love this game for taking a little break from the workday's stresses and intrusive thoughts. The music is lovely and soft, and so transportive. I also love learning about different plants and the different conditions under which they thrive. And appreciate that the game runs in the background so when I return to it, there are lots of plants to harvest!
Nice to see that the devs are still active in the steam discussions and fixing issues (bought the game after the major update 1 year after release, and I'm happy with it)
A beautifully painted gardening simulator rendered in soft watercolours, the game offers a calm experience as I nurture plants to make jam. The game's visual style is very pleasing and creates a tranquil balcony space to decorate and watch plants grow. The mechanics are straightforward yet enriched with quirky unlock conditions that reveal more content, keeping the gameplay interesting. The gentle music perfectly complements the aesthetics, creating an overall relaxing experience. Along the way, I’ve learnt more about plants, what can go wrong and how to care for them - valuable lessons that could save my real ones this year.
The game is very cute and charming. I love the gameplay loop and keep coming back to it. It feels satisfying when you get the hang of your first few plants and start to be able to branch out and decorate! I personally really like the pace and gameplay loop. It may be a slower pace for some, but I found it perfect and relaxing. I think it strikes a nice balance and is something I can recommend to even my more casual friends. It is satisfying seeing the plants grow through their stages. The music is pleasant and easy to listen to and the art has a warm and charming feeling. I also love little touches of humor and love such as the Hammock furniture unlock requirement. (Think: Banana Hammock) Things like that are cute and charming and add that nice little touch of character! The Devs are also really proactive about fixing bugs in the earlier stages of the game - which I really appreciated! I definitely recommend it for a cozy and relaxed experience. Just expect it to be that. Cozy and Relaxed. It is better suited for a slower a patient play.
This game is pretty bad. It could be charming, I guess, but it's sooooo broken. I can't even identify one thing that makes it glitch out because nearly everything does. There's also no quality of life changes, like changing the speed. Everything is really unintuitive. Just very bad. Not a finished game, should not be at this price point even after lowering. Very disappointed.
