About
Planetbase is a strategy game where you guide a group of space settlers trying to establish an outpost on a remote planet.
In the game you play the role of the base architect and manager, telling your colonists where to build the structures they will need to survive. You will have to ensure that they have a constant supply of oxygen, food and water to stay alive.
You will get them to collect energy, extract water, mine metal, grow food, manufacture bots, and build a fully self-sufficient base in a harsh environment, where you are always one step away from total failure.
Even if the game is not intended to be a simulator, all the mechanics are plausible, and based on what the expected challenges of establishing a colony in an new planet would be.
Four different planets with different conditions and increasing difficulty.

Harness solar and wind energy (if available) in order to power the base's structures.
Grow hydroponic Vegetables and synthesize Vitromeat to feed your population.
Mine and produce raw resources, process them, manufacture goods, and establish a production chain.
Carefully manage the colonist immigration flow to ensure you have the people with the right skills.

Survive disasters like meteors, sandstorms or solar flares and defend your base from intruders.
Mechanize your base by creating your own bots that will help with the more arduous tasks.
Grow your colony from a few initial pioneers to a vibrant planetbase with hundreds of colonists.

Interesting colony/base building game with the difficulty ramping up as one expands and diversifies. The usual job of balancing raw material extraction, production, storage, workers and workflows. Doesn't shatter any of the genre norms, but does what it does well. Bonus is that it has workshop support! Looking forward to Planetbase 2, which is in development atm.

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great colony builder. Enough simplicity to make it enjoyable with enough difficulty to keep it interesting. There are a few things that could be better, but I'm hoping they are addressing them in the second one because I will eventually buy it as well when I have the money. To be honest, a good game that I've sank over 600 hours into and completed the challenges for. Currently, I'm working on finishing 100% achievements and I'm only missing 6 currently. All in all, definitely recommended if you like colony builders and resource management with different planets posing different challenges/difficulties along the way.
Awesome game. Looking forward to Planetbase II
Played this game on and off for years. Amazing game.
A lot of fun, makes me think but also relaxing.
Fun little colony builder. Also, it's dirt cheap, so great value. I think I sank like 130 hours into it, so I definitely got my money's worth. It's been a while since I played, but I'm pretty sure I did all the planets and got most of the achievements. Looking forward to Planetbase 2. Gameplay is a little simplistic, but I like that. It forces you to do higher-level planning instead of digging through and micromanaging a zillion different parts. Eventually you finish all the planets and then there's not much else to do, but it was fun until then. The game is streamlined, low footprint, and not buggy. It's great for a few dozen hours of fun, and for the price, it's a great value.
This game is just impossible....! I started at least 20 times and never went past "sustainability" before having everyone starve despite having a large food dome thing with all the food but no-one to produce it because guess what, you can send people to mars but plants need to be manually watered for an entire day to give 1 ONE meal!! and every single time, guess who dies first?? Biologist! And guess what happen when you request a ship full of biologist?? It never ever comes! And I played on the easiest ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mod! I wish I could get my money back this game is just way way too difficult and should definitely have a sandbox mode for those of us who just want to build a nice planetary base.
хорошая игра но и минусы тоже имеется...ИИ персонажи немного туповаты как по мне...у торговцев высокие комиссии, в целом скоро выходит 2-ая часть посмотрим что будет...надеюсь будут учтены ошибки первой части
