This is a great romp with friends, It is no longer supported/updated, but it always ran great and was what it intended to be, a quick/easy version of Supreme Commander. I wouldn't spend $30 on it but if it goes on sale it's worth it for some RTS mayhem.
This is the only game where I can stealth toss whole planets at a mf it brings me utter joy when I hear my friends scream in terror when they zoom out of their planet view by mistake and see the moon hurdling towards them because they missed the notification 30 minutes ago
Scammer Company
this game is a longtime favorite used to play with friend glad after all this time it is being worked on

🧾 Conclusion — Vive la destruction planétaire
Planetary Annihilation: TITANS est :

massif
stratégique
complètement démesuré
terriblement satisfaisant
An originally promising concept that kept falling short or having former features removed as time went. I remember the early beta having surface cratering depending on where an incoming asteroid would hit. It would take multiple asteroids to destroy a large planet. In the final version, a single asteroid seems to atomize any planet, regardless of size. Unfortunately, the game mostly boils down on surviving on the surface to take control of the orbital layer as soon as possible, then lock your opponent in the ground while you orbit-bomb them. There is no need to go to the other planets or asteroids normally, as soon as you started the lockdown, you can just keep orbit bombing... it will generally snowball. Starting on different planets does not help either, it just becomes a rush on who can lock the other down into their planet with space units. After many years not playing, I decided to reinstall it to give it a go, perhaps click some nostalgia, or just to refresh my memory of it a bit, only to find the game crashing on me after about 10 minutes of gameplay. Seeing other people has the same issue, makes me wonder if this has been updated to work proper on Win11.
it is this supreme commander like game but you have planets. you make giant buildings which wipe out a whole planet that your friend that you are playing with had a whole base there and now he is cooked:) so anyways this game is great for quick giant battles or you just want to turtle and make the death star. I would say this game is a 8/10.
A new version of Total Annihilation, Has good Support, And makes me hope to the future of this type of game.
I though the game was dying, by dying i meant the devs were going to forget about it but damn i was wrong, i just came back after leaving it for 4 months and the game has been updated a lot, coop campaing, they overhauled the menu. Its just so good to see the game getting this kind of updates. I totally recommend this game even tho the servers are almost dead, its just a nice game and if you got friends to play with its event better. For me its a 9/10 the gameplay its original and feels good, it even supports mods if you get tired of seeing the same units all the time. I 100% recommend getting the came, probably not offsale but right now with the 50% discount i think its a good investment. Also its very well optimized.
