Y'all I have only had this game a few hours of playthrough but when I say I am having the TIME OF MY LIFE. Granted, roguelike deck builders are my whipped cream on a milkshake, but this one is legitimately so fun. The vibes and graphics are immaculate. It is the first game I have downloaded in YEARS that doesn't make my laptop sound like a hairdryer--it requires so little of my computer, which that said, it is SMOOTH AS BUTTER. I do not write reviews hardly ever. But this game is *chef's kiss* ~magnifique~. 10/10. Will be recommending to all of my friends.
A well done deck builder. Definitely worth playing if you like these types of games.
игра - полная шляпа для задротов. я один из них...
类似于塔,但是整体界面很花,构筑感也不是特别强
This is my favorite roguelike of all time, and that's for a good reason. Essentially, this game is just slay the spire, but better in every single aspect. The theme is far more enjoyable and the music is better.. But the biggest difference is the gameplay. There are far more classes in this game, and there's simply more content. If you are looking for a slay the spire inspired game, skip slay the spire. This game is simply better.
I picked up Pirates Outlaws at a deep discount in a Steam sale and it proved to be a great little purchase. If you're looking for a fun, easy entry into roguelite deckbuilders, this is a great place to start. I finished my first run in just 2.5 hours, but there's a whole lot more to the game if you need it.
Developed and published by Fabled Game, Pirates Outlaws delivers a rewarding blend of roguelike progression and deck-building strategy within a lively pirate-themed world. Rather than focusing on cinematic storytelling or action-heavy combat, the game centers on tactical decision-making, where every move can determine whether a voyage ends in triumph or disaster. Players take command of a pirate captain exploring dangerous seas, battling hostile enemies, collecting powerful cards, and searching for valuable relics while navigating a constantly changing adventure. The straightforward premise is elevated by remarkable gameplay depth that keeps every expedition engaging from beginning to end. The heart of the experience is its strategic card combat. Every encounter requires players to carefully manage energy, ammunition, defensive options, and offensive abilities while reacting to enemy intentions. Victory is rarely achieved through luck alone, as thoughtful planning and efficient card sequencing are essential for surviving increasingly difficult opponents. The game continually encourages players to evaluate risks, preserve resources, and adapt their tactics based on the cards and relics available during each run. This creates battles that feel challenging without becoming overwhelming, rewarding careful thinking instead of repetitive actions. Replayability is one of Pirates Outlaws' greatest strengths. The game features an extensive roster of captains, each equipped with distinctive starting decks, passive abilities, and unique mechanics that dramatically change how every campaign unfolds. Unlocking new characters introduces fresh strategies instead of merely cosmetic differences, giving players countless opportunities to experiment with entirely different playstyles. Combined with randomly generated rewards, branching routes, unpredictable events, and multiple explorable regions, no two journeys feel exactly alike. This constant variation ensures that returning players continue discovering new combinations and strategies long after completing their first successful run. Deck customization is equally impressive, providing tremendous flexibility without sacrificing balance. Players gradually shape their decks by acquiring new cards, removing weaker ones, upgrading favorites, and collecting relics that enhance specific strategies. Aggressive damage-focused builds, defensive counterattacks, poison effects, ammunition management, and numerous other approaches remain viable depending on the choices made throughout a voyage. The satisfaction comes not only from assembling a powerful deck but also from adapting when ideal cards fail to appear, forcing creative solutions that often become the most memorable victories. Visually, Pirates Outlaws embraces a vibrant hand-drawn art style that perfectly complements its adventurous setting. Character illustrations, enemy designs, and environments are colorful, expressive, and instantly recognizable, creating an inviting atmosphere despite the game's demanding gameplay. Every region introduces unique visual themes and enemy types that prevent exploration from becoming repetitive. The user interface is clean and efficient, allowing players to easily monitor card costs, health, status effects, and enemy actions without cluttering the screen. The audio presentation effectively supports the game's atmosphere through energetic background music and satisfying combat sound effects. The soundtrack reinforces the feeling of embarking on dangerous voyages while remaining subtle enough to complement lengthy play sessions. Audio cues during combat provide useful feedback for attacks, abilities, and powerful card combinations, contributing to the overall sense of polish throughout the experience. Difficulty plays a major role in the game's identity. Early failures are common, especially for newcomers unfamiliar with deck-building principles or enemy attack patterns. However, the progression system ensures that each defeat contributes to future success through unlockable characters and accumulated knowledge. Learning enemy behaviors, recognizing valuable card synergies, and improving route selection gradually transform seemingly impossible challenges into manageable encounters. This steady learning curve gives every victory genuine satisfaction while encouraging continued experimentation. Although the game offers exceptional replay value, a few aspects may not appeal to everyone. Randomized rewards occasionally result in less favorable deck-building opportunities, making certain runs noticeably more difficult than others. Unlocking the complete roster of characters also demands a considerable time investment, which some players may view as repetitive. Furthermore, those expecting an action-focused pirate adventure may find the deliberate pace of strategic card battles less exciting than traditional combat-driven experiences. Despite these minor shortcomings, Pirates Outlaws stands out as one of the more polished and addictive entries in the roguelike deck-building genre. Its combination of meaningful strategy, extensive character variety, satisfying progression, and consistently rewarding gameplay creates an experience that remains enjoyable across countless playthroughs. Every expedition offers new tactical possibilities, encouraging players to refine their skills while experimenting with fresh combinations of cards and relics. For fans of thoughtful strategy games that reward careful planning and adaptability, Pirates Outlaws is an excellent choice that offers outstanding long-term value. Rating: 8/10
Slay the spire copy except with a bunch of interesting differences. It is a steal in the steam sale and check out reviews online to get an idea.
后面就开始加一些莫名其妙的英霸BOSS,游戏体验不能说一般吧,就是挺差的
最喜欢的肉鸽之一。可惜手游和steam不能互通,手游的游戏反馈更好
