PoBC is one of those hidden gems of a game. I really enjoyed the art style, writing, and game play. I even used screen shot from this game as wallpaper for a very long time.

cant play pirates of black cove ( Failed to initialize the engine ) and ( Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library ) Runtime Error ! C:\Program Files x86\Steam\steamap... R6025 -Pure virtual function call How do i fix this ? . Is it cos i am using windows 11 ?

[h1]Pirates galore[/h1] Yet another pirate top down game. Am i complaining, no. its fantastic. the terrible jokes, appalling voice acting and simple game play actually make this game super enjoyable while not being challenging. tiny bit of RTS helps break up the sea faring malarky. Don't expect the world but it is what it is an old game ripping of Sid Meier's pirates, just like they all do. It's a good thing

+ Pomysł. Twórcy podjęli się dosyć ciekawego połączenia mechanik z gier "Pirates!" oraz "Corsairs". + Ładna woda + Nieskomplikowana fabuła, na której nie trzeba być bardzo skupionym. + Dla niewymagających niski poziom trudności może być zaletą. - Nuda. Gra to w skrócie przyjmowanie zadań, polegających do popłynięcia z punktu A do punktu B i do bezmyślnego posyłania naszych piratów do walki, a potem powrót do zleceniodawcy. Każde zadanie wygląda w praktyce tak samo. - Brak możliwości abordażu. Jeśli chcemy przejąć statek wroga, musimy... zamontować katapultę na naszym statku i używając jej wystrzelić naszą załogę na statek wroga i czekać, aż załoga zrobi swoje. - Znajdźkami w grze są suchary. I każdy z nich to arcytwardy beton. - Bugi, których nie wyłapałem zbyt wiele, ale potrafią one np. sprawić, że załoga utknie w jakimś miejscu. - Brak polskiej wersji może sprawić, że nie zrozumiemy dialogów, bo są pisane bardzo dziwną angielszczyzną, prawdopodobnie jakimś pirackim dialektem. - Niektórym może się nie spodobać niski poziom trudności. - Colonel, jeden z bohaterów, których spotykamy ma arcyirytujący głos. Szkoda. Pomysł dobry, ale kiepskie wykonanie.

Игра то норм,только вот разрабы обосрались с оптимизацией,не знаю как у остальных,у меня черезе 40 минут после начала игры,начинает фризить при малейшем движении курсора,в финальной миссии она вообще вылетает,за такие моменты обидно,так как игра детства то порекомендую,но играя сейчас понимаю что она сырая

Kein Pirates! aber unterhaltsam. Ich hab es eine Stunde für mein "Angespielt"-Video gespielt und es war mir nicht langweilig. Manche Sachen sind etwas zäh, z. b. dass ich in der Siedlung wirklich zu dem Ort hinlaufen muss und nicht einfach draufklicken kann. Aber dennoch entwicklet das Spiel einen gewissen "Nur noch das einsammeln"-Effekt. I remember getting this because I was looking for a game similar to Sid Meier's Pirates! While I felt this game didn't offer a lot, I still enjoyed it and played it till the end. The game is fun and easy to pick up, and as long as you go into it knowing they are not being serious (at all) you can enjoy it without to much cringing. (Mr. P....) The things that I can only comment about are: Captain Quickdraw - OMG his voice was painful. Skills - Apparently the hero units had them. I think I only really ever used them in the beginning, once or twice perhaps. Artifacts - The Passive ones are great. The Active ones... never found a need for them. Ever. Difficulty - Never found the game too hard, but I did reach a point where with the right ship and upgrades I would dominate every sea battle. As for the land battles, same thing happened once I unlocked two hero units. Jokes Collectibles - Seriously how is it possible to have 1001 Pirate Puns?! Still worth some time if you look for a tongue-in-cheek pirate game.
