Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Sep 14 → 4.33/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Cinematic spin on the turn-based genre – Predict enemy movements, orchestrate precisely timed countermeasures, and hit “execute” to watch the physics-based action unfold in real time.
Extensive customization – Featuring a rich customization system, Phantom Brigade enables you to fine-tune the performance of your mechs, install a wide selection of equipment, and access a wealth of cosmetic options. Prepare your squad for any challenge - in style.
An expansive arsenal – Railguns, beam weapons, missiles, energy swords, and more! Rain destruction down upon your homeland’s invaders with weaponry salvaged from each enemy mech you defeat.
Strategic tactical combat – Make high-level tactical decisions on the world map, manage your mobile base, and decide how to apply your limited resources. Take command of your squad in varied missions ranging from sabotage of enemy equipment and convoy ambushes to liberation battles and challenging outpost onslaughts.
Destructible environments – It's not a proper game about giant mechs without destructible buildings! Phantom Brigade allows every square meter of each battle map to be destroyed. Shatter your enemy’s cover and collapse buildings on top of them!

It's a cool idea, but the weird predict enemy movement gimmick just isn't for me. Would much prefer a traditional turn based tactical rpg.
This game was already everything i wanted before 2.0 if you like xcom with the ability to watch the battle in real time afterwards than this is the end all be all its got lots of depth to support the "predition mechanic" Including an overworld when out of combat, pilot development, mech building, lots of paint down the limbs for your mech, and a bunch of other supporting mechanics, and since 2.0 you can now watch the whole battle in its entierity. Being able to appreciate all of your careful and lenghty planning with the ability to control time speed, rewind, and freeze, is amazing! Not to mention that its incredibly user friendly, allowing you to focus on a specific parts of the battle, or follow the path of a specific mech. You naturally create entire action set pieces with every mission you play, it was the one thing that was missing before 2.0 and now we have it. So yeah, Solid buy!

i honestly cant stress enough how much the full-battle replays feature enhances the experience of this game. during combat, you have to think pretty hard about your positioning in every fight since the ally turn and the enemy turn plays out simultaneously - and if you're playing on hard difficulty, death can come very quickly. this results in kind of losing out on the 'cinematic' aspect of this game. full-battle replay allows you to have the best of both worlds, and watching the entire minute-long battle play out in real-time is indescribably cool. this is the best state the game has ever been in, if you are a fan of mecha, or even if you're just a fan of turn-based tactics games, this is a must-play. the gameplay is unlike any other game that i've played and it is addicting
9/10, amazing game, Battletech meets Frozen Synapse. The good: You map out each 5 seconds of commands and can see ghosts of your mechs go through the motions to ensure good firing lines and no mistakes. Lots of weapons to salvage, from swords to artillery rockets to sustained beams and status effects. Lots of perks to customize pilots. Detailed controls and precise timing lets you move your mechs in and out of cover, lobbing shots in between your own units as you dash around explosions. It's like a coordinated ballet of destruction, even more so when you use the replay feature to show in super-slow-mo how you turned attackers from 4 directions into smoking piles of wreckage at the same time. The bad: Movement commands aren't perfect, movements can't be shortened on the timeline and locations can't be dragged to adjust, so you often have to cancel then reissue a shorter move to adjust a firing angle or not crash into your other units. Artillery arcs are visible when fired, but not on replay or the turn they explode, so better remember where that enemy rocket will be landing! In packed battles it would be a big QOL to have the arc stay visible or show up again when you replay the launch. The ugly: For V1.0, they programmed a whole open world like Mount & Blade. Some players got lost, so patch 2.0 cut the open world in favor of giving you 3 buttons with mission descriptions to go into your next battle. What a waste of all that work! They should keep the open world imo, I prefer driving around and discovering enemy bases rather than having buttons pop up after each combat saying "enemy base with 4/6/8 defenders, click here to go to this combat."
This is a really fun and unique tactical mech game. If you like games like Battletech you should really give this game a chance. Its not quite as in depth as Battletech is, but if has it has its fair of customization options for the mechs. The story is simple, but its ok. You're a merc group travelling around ridding the land of bad guys. Like i said its ok. But where this game really shines is in the turn based combat. Im really loving it.
Yeah I just can't. Going to DNF this one. Life is short. I've had this game for a long while but every time I try it again I just get tired of it faster. I loved games like Battletech and XCom but this is worse than any of those in every way. There doesn't appear to be any story or fun gameplay or any reason to be there. You basically just do small little generic missions over and over in small little areas that are basically all the same. Feels like randomly generated garbage. It gets boring toward the end of the tutorial then does not get better. It gets more convoluted and uninteresting, and that's about it. Not my cup of tea.
I could ask for little else from a giant mech strategy game. 10/10
Body Type A/B + Pronoun Selection (buried under a few menus so you might miss it in the demo). Sorry, I don't care how good the game is, I don't buy from zealots who hate everyone that doesn't ascribe to their linguistically destructive neo-religion. You took the whole open world campaign out, but you'll keep the identity politics in? Type B review, then. Wouldn't want to hurt anyone's feelings by assuming the polarity of a review type to be negative just because it has a red down thumb.
