I have to say, I was torn between recommending and not recommending. In the end, I decided to recommend, because I think the problem is only a glitch that will be fixed, then it will be really coll, especially for the price it's listed at. Less than a hamburger! I really did like the music and the atmospheres. Well, the ones I got through. I think I am going to wait for an update for the rest. I encountered, what I believe to be a "first release" bug of some type? For some reason, It loaded me in sideways and wouldn't let me re-center even when I did it from the oculus menu, no big deal really, but, confusing at first, I sat there for like 20 seconds waiting for something to happen before I realized wasn't facing the right way. Also, for some reason, I can't seem to move without pushing in the thumb sticks the whole time, which makes it really difficult to navigate, makes turning really choppy etc. Push in, turn a little, push in, turn a little, you get the idea lol
The music is dark and hauntingly beautiful. the scenes are not mind blowing, there are a few texture issues here and there, but, the creativity in my opinion makes up for it! Don't get me wrong, the graphics are quite good in a lot of areas, just a few texture issues like, in the water, by a campfire, for example. Really interesting, dream like, areas to explore while having this music playing, was really quite an experience!
The reason I didn't want to go any further, is I didn't want to spoil the experience by being frustrated by the controls. I think it's worth a pick up while it's on sale now, even if the controls are a little broken, so, you can have it when they are taken care of, it only just came out today, so, im sure the devs will take care of it. Great work! I love experiences like this and I can't wait to roll through this when that weird little glitch is fixed! Thanks for the hard work!
