Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 8 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
In this bold turn-based RPG, where musical numbers meet thrilling combat, join pop singer Cadence on her quest for stardom.
After being shut out of the Noteworthy Song Contest, Cadence realizes that her solo act might not be enough for the judges. As she travels across Note to the Rock City of Durandis, the EDM City of Lumina, and more, Cadence fills out her band with eclectic and powerful musicians from lands afar. But something's brewing in the distance...the Harmonic Convergence is playing havoc with the world's musical energies, and dark forces are working behind the scenes to disrupt Note's natural harmonies. It wasn't in the set list, but Cadence and the others need to step up and make sure music itself still has a future on stage.

I cannot remember a game that made me smile, laugh, and cry out of enjoyment... ever. I genuinely loved every moment of it, except for one bug where my inventory didn't update and I spent 2 hrs combing the entire world for a collectible I had the entire time. If you like music, musicals, excellent turn-based combat where you get to strategically plan your turns and builds, and PUNS this game is up your alley. 11/10. Would buy a second time.
Played for 8 hours, saved *dozens of times* manually, and automatically. Made lots of progress, got to the third story area. come back today, my files arent there. my resume game was when i was lvl 4. i stopped when i was level 12. i cant recommend a game that doesnt utilize your save files.

never got tired of spamming recharging rhythm with cadence. never
As someone that played in band through school and some in college. on top of having friends that have their own bands, or learned music theory. I fell in love with this game. From the story to the music, to just the little things in this game. It shows how much love was put into the game. I would love to see more with this game world, or more people to try making musical RPGs.
Friend of mine made a bunch of music for this game. Lots of silly music plays on words, interesting battle system thats secretly a puzzle game, and some great QoL built in (Like random battles only happen when you push the random battle button -- letting you choose). Fundo and recommend.
Cozy, but STILL GOOD
I like JRPGs, and I love musical fantasy premises (which we don't get nearly enough of), so the moment I knew of People of Note I knew it had to be a month-1 purchase, even if the chosen color palette would usually be a red flag for someone like me... and some minutes into the game, I did verify that this was, indeed, a "cozy game" HOWEVER... considering how much the genre has scaled-down over the last 20 years, cozying this one up didn't do any more damage than Squeenix already did, nor it kept me from squeezing a good 70 hours of fun out of it. Combat is easy, but still engaging enough to be entertaining (and fortunately so are the puzzles, since I can't do one proper puzzle to save my life). As expected, this game is also a Rock Opera, and as such is all a bit silly, a bit corny, and a bit cringey at times, but if you enjoy musicals or are otherwise able to not take yourself too seriously, I guarantee you'll enjoy every minute of the game. The story is enjoyable and the world building got buy-in from me from the get-go, also I love the game's sense of humor and how they crammed more musical references per square inch in than Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. The characters are all well written and well rounded, and most of the cast wrecked their life at one point and for them the game is their journey of redemption. The composer of this musical is no Mitch Leigh, but his work is sufficient. Could the game have had more musical numbers? Maybe, but this is probably what the budget allowed for so I won't hold it against them. Could it have had actual metal coming from the resident rocker? Maybe, but unless you're born in Sweden or are older than 50 chances are won't know what actual metal sounds like, so I won't hold it against the composer. This is still a solid game offering a fun time, and perfectly worth the entrance fee (definitely LOTS better than say, FF 16). Try it when you can.
Very music nerdy. So many puns. Light and entertaining. The combat is strategic without being stressful.
Decent rpg and musical with some fun rhythm mechanics. Excellent soundtrack.
